Krishna even with a swirl of emotions in his eyes calmly said the boon of all the others will come true with time but yours might come true right now only if you seek it karn could not understand or to say he was unable to process anything. He stood there with no emotion; his mind was just blank that reflected in his eyes that just stared at Krishna.
When he saw that Krishna was standing with a calm smile, it was just triggering the fire inside him. He thought what was it with today that people were playing around with fire. So, he just shouted at Krishna Do I look like I am able to want anything or even process anything or are you trying to tell me that I got the recognition that I longed for, and if it is that you want my wish at this moment, I think anybody here would know it and that was rejected the moment I asked for it by running into the fire.
Krishna started speaking karn how can you say that you were rejected from seeking the boon that my sakhi gave you? She wanted you to have a happy life and do not forget she knew you too well to just let the boon grant you your momentary wish. As Krishna paused karn could already see where this was going and gears started turning in his head.
Krishna continued Think properly karn, remember her words correctly and do not forget this time you were right, she was actually wrong about you this time after being correct all her life.
Everyone present there were confused just as karn came out of his confusion, his face started changing the ones that held zero emotions started to glow, the eyes that were dry and out of tears now started flowing again. So much was happening and he was not sure if he could actually believe it.
This was really big and he could not believe something like this could happen to him, did he actually have this kind of luck or boon written for him in this life. He was the happiest yet he was unable to let himself live this moment what if all that was a dream or his imagination. He was so weak right, he must have fainted and this must be some kind of trick by his mind to wake him up. The heart that he thought he had lost, started to beat fastly. So many things running in his mind yet one thought as much as he wanted to not give into, pulled him to it HER.
He might have a chance again, to see her again, to feel her presence, to smell her scent, to hear her voice. May be have a chance with her, if it was actually true he was ready to fight with the whole world for her. He would protect her, shower her with all the love in this world. Her eyes which always had a longing in it even in the happiest moments of her life, will never have that now he thought. He would give her everything, hold her close and treat her the way she deserves to be.
He did not know if he deserved her but he was sure of one thing he would do everything to make her smile with that amazing glow, which he saw on her the first time he saw her. Her face with the innocent smile and glowing eyes still etched in his heart.
Others around them were devastated none could actually believe panchali was gone, they wished it to be a bad dream but no. Karn was back yet no one could he fully happy for it and karndraupadi, it was something they did not even think had a possibility even in their dreams. Kunthi being the mother could feel all her sons pain and it killed her watching her sons, the strongest warriors of aryavat crumble right infront of her eyes and she had to just watch it. Karn was another thing , kunthi did not have the strength to even look at his face. He was not this bad and in pain even when there was a arrow in his throat. The son of the sun lords face was filled with deep darkness, his natural shine totally gone it was like the darkness engulfed the sun.
The pandavas were totally broken, their wife was gone, when they knew she was leaving, they wanted her to be happy even when it was so painful for them. They knew she deserved to be happy, get what she wanted after all that has happened and what all she went through. Even when it would crush them, they knew she had to go but not like this, not without even a little peaceful time in her life after the gruesome war.
But Arjun was a different case he failed again to save her, to give her happiness, to keep the promise he made for her to himself. Now she was gone, his love was gone, he could never speak to her again. Even as she asked him to stop apologising he knew he had to, he needed to for freeing himself from all the guilt. She would never know the love he has for her, the depth of the guilt and pain killing him from inside, the remorse he has for his actions in the past. Now he has to live the remaining part of his life holding all these inside his heart.
Sahadev was the only one to understand the conversation between karn and krishna and he was wondering if that was even possible but then he knew if it was panchalis boon then it definitely would happen. He was just staring at his brother karn with these thoughts. He could see gears turning in karns head, his face was starting to show emotions it varied from happy, pain, disbelief.
As time passed karn became calm and his face showed clarity, seeing which krishna said now that you have understood, why dont you make the wish karn?. Karn with all their moments running in his mind in a swift started to make his wish.
