Writing prompts are suggestions or ideas that are meant to inspire and motivate writers to start writing. They can be in the form of a phrase, sentence, image, or scenario that is given to writers to use as a starting point for their creative writing. Writing prompts are often used in writing exercises or workshops to help writers overcome writer's block, spark their creativity, or challenge them to write outside their comfort zones. Writing prompts can be specific to a particular genre or can be more general, and they can be used to generate ideas for short stories, novels, poems, or any other type of creative writing.
My goal is to provide fellow creators with a reliable source of ideas and inspiration. My end goal, as is the case with so many of you, is to perhaps one day get paid for my work.
I have been writing on and off ever since I was 11 years old. I am still unpublished, so please don't think I am an expert. I am not, but I will say that I know the struggles of putting pen to paper, of not having the right resources or belief in myself to complete the task I've set in front of me.
I have been writing sporadically since I was eleven years old. I am yet to be published, so I want to clarify that I am not an expert. However, I do understand the challenges that come with writing, such as struggling to start, lacking the necessary resources, and feeling unsure of one's abilities to finish what they've begun.
Everyone is at different stages of their development and my job with this project is give help others fill in their gaps. I will not claim to be the best writer, but I will claim that I have an abundance of ideas that I don't mind sharing with others. Ideas are free in my eyes, free to be shared and used. As I mention above, I hope to one day be paid for the ideas that I share, but until that day I will give my ideas out free of charge.
Not only do I see this as a training exercise, I also see this as an opportunity to build a community or platform where like-minded people can come together and assist each other.
So, feel free to use the ideas that I post or even comment and add your own interpretations so that others can gain inspiration.
I will be using my own original ideas, as well as posting ideas that may find throughout my travels throughout the world wide web. Do not fret, as for each idea and picture I will reference and link the original creator.
So, with that being said, I thank you all for taking the time to read this and hope you all find the ideas that you may need.
