She didn't want to do this. But at the time, it had seemed like the only option. She plopped back down onto the stiff, uncomfortable mattress in her room. She stared out the glass windows on the wall, floors, and ceiling of her room. At first this had really frightened her. But everything was frightening to her now. Everything that had happened ruined every aspect of the reality of herself she had formed. It was shattered beyond repair, and now she was constantly living in fear. At this point, she would rather be dead. But she still had one reason to stay alive. She needed to know what would happen to the world, and the others. And not this world she had created. The real world.
She sat up with a sigh. What was the point of being all upset about it? There was nothing she could do about any of this now. She knew how much of a risk it was to add Tsumi into her world. She knew that this perfect world would be corrupted, ruined, once anyone became aware of her trap.
But she had already gone too far. She didn't know if they would be able to escape, or what would happen if they even did, but she would not help or hurt their chances. She would just leave them be.
But you're responsible for all of this. You could have just tried to move on! Maybe the world would have gotten better. Maybe there would have been a last minute miracle. She thought doubtfully. There wasn't really anything she could fall back onto, anything she could try to do to hide the truth on what she'd done. There was no going back.
She faintly heard her secretary calling her name, probably to inform her that Tsumi was becoming aware of the situation she was in.
As she covered her ears with her cool pillow and turned her body to the side, she wondered if not involving herself in the mess that she caused would cause more harm than she may have anticipated.
