Where are you?

After the dinner, Reiji lightly tapped on the wine glass on the table to get everyone's attention and began, "I suppose all of you are aware of what had happened to Ayato today. And if anyone of you is curious enough to know the reason I suggest you all listen to me carefully as the next time won't be a warning."

Ayato who had just woken up from his near-death experience rolled his eyes and let out a frustrated sigh. "Now since everyone has settled down, let me begin." Reiji said as he fixed his glasses, "As we all have realised that L/N here has an undeniably sweet scent, she also comes with a rather... interesting little talent." He spoke as his gaze landed on me. Everyone followed his gaze and stared at me till Reiji continued again.

I don't like unwanted attention okay?! Can you all not stare at me?! Especially YOU, Laito. I thought as I saw Laito staring at me with a little too much attention. I shifted my gaze to Reiji as he continued, "L/N here as a type of blood that is not suitable for consumption by any of us, or to speak more frankly, by any of our kind." He finished, keeping the talk as short as possible.

"If any of you is curious to know more about it, then I suggest you to mind your own business and don't come crawling to me if your curiosity brings you death." He said, while emphasizing the 'death' part. Everyone grew quiet as they stared at me again. Shu was the only one who didn't care at all about what Reiji had just said. I wish I was as unhinged as you are ... I thought I glanced at him for a moment.

"Reiji, I have a question ~", Laito chimed, as he cupped his face between his hands. "And what is it?" Reiji asked, looking utterly uninterested. "If little Bitch-chan's blood is completely useless to us then why is she here? Isn't she completely useless to us then?" Laito asked seriously. Oh no... Why am I getting a bad feeling about this?

"Can't we just throw her away?",Subaru said before Reiji could begin. Oh I'd LOVE that! I knew you're my favourite one so far. I thought as I looked at Reiji again to see how he'd react. "...if you want to go against His orders, then go ahead. ....just remember the consequences." Shu said as he glanced at Subaru who was sitting at the very end of the table. Subaru humphed in response.

"I hope that answers your question, Laito." Reiji said. Laito shrugged. "Teddy was right, wasn't he?", Kanato said, while hugging the bear in his arms tightly. "Ugh! Pancake's so annoying! Totally useless!", Ayato said with a click of his tongue, sounding frustrated. Wait a sec- PANCAKE?!?! You little -! Who are you calling Pancake?! I have more thickness in my booty then that dumb little brain of yours!

"Pancake...?", I repeated the word as a question, my hand grabbing the fork on the table a little too tightly. Shu let out a small chuckle under his breath. "Well yes! You are Pancake cause you're as flat as one." Ayato said as he scoffed. I raised my eyebrows in response. "I'll have to disagree with that." I mumbled. "Does anyone has any other questions?" Reiji asked.

"Teddy wants to know... How is Y/N calm in this situation? ....a little too calm.... for a human like her. Aren't humans supposed to be afraid when they are in situations like this?", Kanato asked while looking at the bear in his arms. Ugh! I HATE that bear. I swear when Azusa throws that thing in the fire, I'll be more than happy. "Hm. For that question, i think it'll be best if L/N answers it herself." Reiji said, his ruby eyes focused on me.

I've been living here for what? 1 day and they're already suspicious of me. Shhhiiiitttt! Now what excuse should I come up with...... ?! Calm yourself first bish. ...I got an idea! I grinned mentally. "I.... don't feel so good.....", I mumbled as covered my eyes with my hand, sighing in pain. "I....", before I could say anything, everything turned black. I remember losing my balance and falling from the chair. Though the hard ground never met my head.

Instead something else cushioned my fall. It felt like a cold...hand. Then I lost consciousness. Well... that was definitely NOT what I had planned... I thought as I felt my mind going numb.

It didn't feel like a long time had passed when I was finally able to open my eyes. Something still felt a little strange.... my body felt light weight, a little too light weight. Okay.... that's a little weird... I didn't die, did I? "Don't worry, dear Y/N. You are alive and well. You're just not conscious right now." A voice echoed.

It was only then when I had realised that I was nowhere, literally. Everything was white... or rather... blank. "Who was that?", I asked. "You know me too well to answer that question yourself, dear Y/N." The voice replied. It sounded calm, dangerously calm. It didn't take me long to guess who it might be. ".... Karl Hienze....", I spoke out. Somehow, speaking out his name suddenly felt a lot more difficult.

"Very good. Now how about we have a little chat. Shall we? I know you're dying to ask me a few things." The voice replied, sounding quite cheerful. A...chat?  It better turn out to be good, or I'll be dead. The voice chuckled in response. "You don't have to be so cautious, dear Y/N. Afterall... you're my little pawn." Pawn....?

That when the Man himself appeared right infront of me, his white hair gracefully resting on his soldiers. Everything about him was screaming, Royal. He had a dark aura around him... darker than I ever expected it to be. "How have you been, dear Y/N?" He asked as he streched his hand towards me.

"To be completely honest, NOT so great. Considering the fact that I was brought here against my will." I said with a disappointed sigh. He laughed, "This is exactly why I chose you." "Pardon?" "If it wasn't for the fact that I can read minds, I'd have completely fallen for that face of yours. How... Interesting." He said with a smile, his one hand stroking his chin as he continued to smile at me.

Yea... How did I forget that... I wondered. "So... why did you bring me here....?" I asked, "Afterall, I'm not even a part of this story. Actually, I'd like to change my question." I said. He looked at me with curiousity. "Where is... She? Where is Yui.....?" I asked. "All in due time, dear. Right now, there are more important things to be done. You will help me, won't you, dear Y/N?" He asked, his ruby eyes gleaming with hope.

If it wasn't for the fact that I knew what he was, anyone can fall for that. I won't be surprised if someone who didn't know him thought of him as an angel. "... Help....? What kind of help...? Also... Aren't you the Vampire king? How can I help you?" I asked, completely confused about his request. "How precious..." He smiled, as he stepped forward and patted my cheek. His touch sent shivers down my spine.

My eyes widened at his action. He silently laughed. "Ah... The times I just wanna... keep you in a little cage... All to myself." He leaned forward and whispered with a contented sigh. "But, unfortunately, I can't." He said as he took a step away from me. Can I just leave?  "Unfortunately, no." He chuckled. "Now then, shall we begin?" He asked, with an outstretched hand. "I don't really have any other option, do I?" I said and held his hand with a sigh. It felt cold... way too cold.
