Devon went to get Isaac some new clothes and some stuff for his room. She really did go above and beyond for this kid. She wanted to give him a life what she wished she could have, with Melina and Alexei or with her actual parents.
River, Foggy and Karen were going to stop by and meet him. They needed their stories straight, in case anyone asks. Foggy and River didn't seem to be bother that much, its a kid who was in a horrible place, why not. And we all know what Karen thinks...
"Okay, run down." Matt said as Devon and him leaned against the couch, testing Isaac. He stood in front of them.
"Fine." He sighs. "You guys are married, Devon doesn't have Murdock as her last name because she wanted to keep it. River is Devons twin brother, my fake uncle, who works as an IT guy for all of New York and lives with my fake grandmother, Giana, who is a stay at home widow, travels a bunch, now gave River the loft to him." Devon nods. "We don't talk about Natasha or Yelena, only when around Foggy, River, Karen and Frank?" They nod. "Foggy, aka Uncle Fogs is Matts friend from college and now has a law firm together. Hes down to earth, cares a lot about everyone and gives off golden retriever energy." Really spot on. "Karen, she works with Matt and Devon, has a bad relationship with Devon because she is Red Widow." Devon rolled her eyes. "She just a family friend. Uhhh Frank, aka the punisher, Devons bestie, dont talk about him." Devon looks at Matt.
"Good enough."
"And just in time." Matt said. He goes and opens the door for them, entering the place. River walks in, holding boxes and puts them on the ground.
"What is all this?" Devon walks up to it.
"Well, mom kept all of my comics, CDs, books and some other stuff when i went to college and got rid of stuff back then, so I thought i'll give it to Isaac." River smiles. Isaac comes around, waving at everyone.
"This is Isaac." Matt introduces. "His new name is Leo Murdock, so please be careful when talking him."
"Hey, i guess im your uncle Foggy." Foggy goes up and shakes his hand.
"And Im your uncle River." He waves.
"Karen Page, just call me Karen. Whatever makes you comfortable."
"Cool." Isaac bops his head. "Thanks for covering for me. I know me being here is already risky, but hopefully this will go by and we can really get know one another."
