I have decided to rewrite the story. Some things have changed, the main characters name is now Eavan instead of Ginzi since I was getting so many complaints about it. How you would pronounce the name is like Evan. I've only edited chapter one for now, so some changes to characters and their names will or will not be made further. That's all, I hope you still enjoy the story. ~

"Eavan!" A frenzied hand shook my shoulder. "Wake up!"

I groaned, swatting the hand away, only to have it come back.

I turned over, burying my face in my pillow. This hand really wants to be torn off.

"Come on!" The feminine voice was persistent, her hand not halting. "It's our first day as juniors!"

By now, I knew who it just happened to be, and the realization saddened me that I couldn't tear her hand off. Anyway, the smell of roses and a sunny day gave it away.

"Fuck. Off. Robin." I said sleepily.

"Get up now, or you're drowning in cold water." Her melodic voice, ringing with a threat.

I sighed and turned over, forcing my eyes open.

I looked at my best friend. Robin's hazel eyes were glowing with excitement. She also just so happened to be dressed already, however, this is what I expected. Robin was wearing a high-waist floral skirt, a white tank-top that was tucked in, a thick tan belt, with white vans to stop it all off. Her hair, black as night, was tumbling down her back in soft waves.

"So, you think you look good?" I smiled at her.

Robin beamed at me, her eyes lighting up just another fraction. "I know I look good, now, if you're planning on going to school like that, I'd advise you to get dressed."

When I didn't move, Robin kicked me of my bed, causing me to land on the floor with a loud thud.

I laid there, staring up at the ceiling. "Pass me my-"

"Up. Now. Dressed." Robin spoke softly as she peered down at me from the edge of the bed.

I sighed as I stood, slouching as I walked into my closet, Robin babbling all the while. I stared at my clothes for what seemed like five minutes, finally coming to the decision of a pair of dark ripped skinny jeans, a long sleeved gray shirt, black vans, and a black beanie. I dressed in my closet.

Beanie in hand, I gladly took my time as I made my way into my bathroom before setting it down on the counter. I brushed my teeth and hair, before adding on deodorant. I put on mascara and did my two somewhat perfect wings, knowing Robin would kill me if I didn't. I did a touch up with my flat iron before adding on my beanie and walking out of the bathroom, causing Robin to fall silent.

Her eyes gave me a once over. "Turn for me."

Sighing, I did a slow spin. She whistled once it was completed, adding in how she wished she had a body like mine, which I only answered with a stare. I pulled my sleeves up to my elbows as my eyes scanned the room for my bag.

"They're downstairs. Our bags." Robin said as she stood and smoothed out her skirt before walking past me and opening the room door. "After you."

I shot her a sarcastic smile before walking out and descending the stairs, Robin right on my heels. We walked into the kitchen first, grabbing "breakfast" which consisted of a couple of granola bars and a shared cup of orange juice. After that was done, we grabbed our bags and walked through the door in the kitchen that connected to the garage.

"Ooooh, can we-" Robin started, but was cut off.

"No." She was in love with my mother's car, but I was not willing to die because of her wanting to sit in it.

"But-"

"Nope. Now come on," I said as I slid into the drivers seat of my Camaro, pulling the door till it closed. "The faster we leave, the faster this day is over." I kissed the steering wheel of my car as Robin slid in and closed her door. "You are the only joy in my life."

"Now," Robin spoke softly. "We both know that's a lie. I'm here, and I find myself amusing. Not only me, but you'll find your ma-"

I snorted. "Mate?" I started my car.

"Yes. A mate. Your mate, Ev." Robin said calmly.

"Rob, I'm an alpha female. What sane werewolf would want that?" I drove my car out the garage and onto the road, speeding, watching the trees fly by.

"I'm a beta, and I still have hope. Everyone has a soul mate." I could hear the smile in her voice.

"Yeah, well, we'll see." I stated.

The rest of the drive was silent, until I pulled into the school parking lot. I was lost in my thoughts, only coming to when Robin shook my shoulder lightly.

"Yeah?" I asked, parking the car before killing the engine.

"I know you Ev. Don't worry about it. He's out there." Robin shot me a soft smile as we got out the car.

I locked the doors as they both shut. "A mate is the least of my problems right now."

I shouldered my bag as we headed toward the entrance of the school, people stepping out of the way for us. Heys here and there, with the occasional high five, which I always gladly took.

Robin soaking in all the attention, while I avoided it like the plague. I laughed at my best friend as we walked through the school doors.
