Days after

Star has fully recovered and is currently getting ready for a meeting. A maid is brushing her hair saying"You must be so excited your highness"star giggled"What's exciting about a meeting with the magical high commission?"."Oh it's not about the meeting your majesty it's-"suddenly another maid came in"It's about your handsome fiance" "Sorry, did you say fiance?!"star said shocked, leaving the maids confused.

As the maids explained star is furious to the point that her 2 hearts have turned red. Without a second thought star stormed off to the meeting room in her pajamas.

At the meeting room

The door opened revealing an angry star making everyone stand up"How dare you decide this without my approval?" "Star what are you angry about?"tom asked as star turned to him"Don't pretend that you don't know, you agreed to this engagement!?...*Tom froze and after a few seconds Star took a deep breath stood up straight like proper queen*now I want all off you to explain"star commanded.

"Your majesty you were bedridden for a week, We feared for mewni and it's royal line. If ever you fail to achieve victory someone must continue the fight that is why you are engaged to King Thomas Lucitor of the Underworld. As he is the best candidate not only because of his great contribution to the war but also because of your past"said the magic high commission"I hear the logic in your words, I know that if ever the queen of mewni is unavailable to fulfill her duty temporarily you the council are responsible for making decisions but I am still alive so you should have ask for my opinion. if ever this happens again I will see it as treason, the meeting is cancelled for today everyone is dismissed"star said going back to her room.

In star room

She is crying out of frustration"Mother, you told me that being queen is so hard, it's harder than being princess and....... I feel like a puppet whose life is now controlled by the fate of so many."star thought. Just then someone knocked on the door"Star can we talk"star gasped at the sound of toms voice"Please leave". As star replied tom knew she was crying"I seriously missed up"tom thought clenching his fist as he leaned on the door.

In the middle of the night star slowly opened her door and walked through the hall bare foot. She went own the stairs but stopped and slowly lift her head looking at her family portrait"Mom what do I do?"star mumbled and soon without knowing she unconsciously found herself in the room where the late queen moon is currently in a coma.

She took a sit next the bed looking at her mother lost in thought. Recalling all her adventures, moments with family and friends, star knew she couldn't be so free ever since she became queen and made an oath."Hi mom I miss u, I wish you were awake right now because I really need some advice"star said between sobs. She continued to talk to her mother and ended up falling asleep exhausted from the events.
