Chapter 1(Bumper Cars)

RAYA POV

The adrenaline pumps through me as I drive faster while Zara, Regina and Sabrina continue shooting bullets out of their guns.

Its four against too many to count.They were probably more than 36 men.

We were fucked.But that didn't mean we were gonna die today nope I'm not dying until I become a billionaire and neither am I getting caught because that's for amateurs only.We just had a minor.......issue with the mission.The Madisons caught us off-guard I'll admit it but can you blame us?Everyone knew they were fucking idiots who would have thought that they actually had a brain underneath those bald heads of theirs.I guess money does bring out the worst of you.

Shaking my thoughts I stepped harder on the accelerator and glanced in the side view mirror knowing that no matter how good we were we couldn't just take them down or fight them off because hell this wasn't another marvel movie.I shouted:

"Sab I need you now"

Sabrina quickly lowered her other half inside the car and tucked her gun, putting it on safety  in her jeans while pulling out a burner laptop.The thing is we all were pretty good at this.We've done this before.We're agents.Surprise. Hacking, fighting, tracking, shooting, stalking, torturing and driving was an obligation for all agents.Every agent needed to learn them. While others were good , the four of us excelled exceptionally well in all fields however everyone had their interests in a specific field.For me it was fighting, shooting and driving and I liked to torture too at times.For Sabrina though it was hacking.

"Raya to your left there's gonna be a small alleyway barely visible in the dark but enough for us to pass through."

"Any cctv's I need to be aware of?"

"A few but I cut off their server connection so were clear for now."

Relief rushed through me as I slowed down the car a bit when we were at a good distance from the alleyway.Feeling the car slow down all of us pulled out our green visionary masks which allowed us exceptional vision in water, smoke and darkness. Looking back I checked to see if the girls had their masks on when I saw all of them had their masks on I took the cue and sped up the car in a gradual pace and then pressed the accelerator with all the power I had and watched as our BMW M3 sped off and when all the cars behind us started to speed too I drifted expertly and continued doing so until there was a hell ton of a smoke before I screamed

"Now"

On cue Regina threw the smoke bomb towards them, which would make a person unconscious for a minimum of 2-3 hours. Recovering the car in a gradual speed I moved us past the smoke and towards the alleyway.I smirked watching all of the cars crash into each other like fucking bumper cars.

Pulling into the alleyway I slow down and step on the breaks till the car comes to a halt.And I turn off the engine while the other step out of the car.After I'm done with shutting down all the systems,I step out to see Zara talking into her earpiece while Sabrina and Regina are vaping at the corner.Taking off the mask I let my hair fall free and grin at them to which they grin back.

"Not even a minute huh?" I tease.

"After that went down?no way it was exhilarating and amazing" Sabrina says.

"True that , I wouldn't mind doing that again" Regina responds.

"Yea It kinda looked like a Kid's birthday party with all the cars crashing like bumper cars in the end" We snickered while I stole the vape from Sabrina.

"Oh and did you see how-" Sabrina was cut off by Zara.

"Again with the smoking didn't I tell you its slow suicide? and Raya boss wants to talk to you"She said snatching the vape from us like a mother snatches candies from her kids after coming from the dentist.

"Yes Ma'am." I salute playfully while turning on my earpiece and move to the farther corner to get some privacy.

"You called boss?" I say into the earpiece.

"Yes Agent 0009 I heard the mission went well"

"When did it never?"

"Almost today.I must say I was very disappointed when I heard that there were some conflictions" she said sternly.Her voice was deep and gravelly but steady and firm at the same time making me wonder how even at the age of 52 she sounded like a 26 year old woman.

"Ah-that I wouldn't call it conflictions I'd say a minor inconvenience?"

"Agent 0009 that was very irresponsible of you and an amateur mistake"

"yes boss I'm sorry it was our fault we underestimated them. This won't happen again."

"Good now that, that's out of the way I want you to come to the HQ tomorrow."

"Sure when should we come in"

"Not we, only you agent 0009"

I raised my brow not liking the sound of that.All my missions were with the team and there weren't such things as solo missions so did it mean I was in trouble?

"Sure I'll be there at....3?" I said assuming a time when boss is available.

"See you soon." She cuts the call.

Sighing I go back to the girls

"Yo Z what's with your mom she called me to the HQ, alone."

Zara glared at me not liking  the fact I called boss her mom because Zara believed this shit about professionalism during work.Unlike us she wasn't 18 or 19 she was 21 so she took work really seriously and was our senior in school because of her age and skills.Sabrina and Regina both were 19 while I was 18 making me the youngest but since I was admitted a year earlier so I was in the same year as them in school. Zara was boss's daughter and our captain.Zara had another brother his name was Aaron Romano.He was the most popular guy in school not just because of his looks but also because how he was perfect in everything. Study, sports, and a lot of other things.He wasn't just another typical popular bad boy no he was a bad boy that respected girls and teachers and was mysterious and cold but gentle at the same time.

To be honest I kinda have a crush on him but haven't approached him or acted on my feelings for him out of respect for Zara.We hadn't interacted much hell we never talked.Even when we were hanging out at Zara's place I would keep my head down and won't approach him and neither did he try  though he always left whenever we came to the living room.We hadn't even exchanged a simple hi or hello and it wasn't just me but also with Sabrina and Regina though he talked with other girls he never really talked to us and it's because were Zara's friends so he knows he isn't allowed to hit on us.He slept around with girls. Like a lot , but he never dated one.

They both didn't look similar even in the slightest while Zara looked more off her asian and Italian side Aaron looked completely American.And since both of them had dyed their hair it just became hard to tell if they were ever related.But both were good looking.They were known as the Romano Siblings since both were exceptionally fine and came from old money.To the world the Romano Family was the owner of multi billion companies however to the underworld they were one of the most ruthless mafias ever known in history.

"Don't ask me she's been very weird at home too lately."

I was gonna interrogate her further when I felt vibrations from my pocket I pulled out my phone to see 'mom' displaced in the screen without any hesitation i answered her not letting her speak.

"Yes mom, we were just done studying. I'm gonna start heading home now"

"Oh okay be quick I was worried" she said

"Yea I'm on my way don't worry" I said and waited for her to say bye and end the call.After hearing nothing I looked down at the phone to see she had ended the call.
