-IYANA-

A couple of hours later, he woke up to a dark room, she was fast asleep right next to him, but in her own blanket. He frowned at that, they had had fights before, but she would always force him to cuddle her. He sighed, and got out of bed, he needed to finalize a couple of things ahead of the launch and he couldn't afford to slip up. His brothers wouldn't necessarily kill him, but they would make it a point to remind him that he wasn't shit without their help. When he took the lead for Khumalo Logistics he was determined to prove them wrong and that was still the plan... they started MZK Trading, he was also very involved in it because it was a family business, but the other two had the majors covered. With Khumalo Logistics he wanted to be properly hands on, in as much as it was also a family business, it was sort-of his baby so he wanted to make himself and the stakeholders proud.

"Coffee?" she asked and he looked up and smiled so she walked in and put the tray down.

"What time is it?" he asked and she looked at her wrist...

"Half-past seven... are you taking me to work or should I drive?"

"I'll take a quick shower and take you"

"Okay" she replied softly and walked out. He looked at his coffee, got up from his seat and followed her out of the study. He hadn't realized how long he had been sitting behind that desk until that moment. At least he managed to get some work done...

After a quick shower he took her to work, they didn't make much conversation in the car, each got lost in their own worlds. After he left her offices, he went back home, back to the study and wrapped up. Around 10 am, at tea time Iyana called Uyabukwa...

Uya: Nana?

Iyana: Hey Uya, unjani?

Uya: Ndi right babe, unjani wena?

Iyana: I don't know...

And then she broke down... Uyabukwa frowned, got up and walked to the porch.

Uya: Iyana, what is going on?

Iyana: I am pregnant...

Uya: What?

Iyana: Yup, I am pregnant. I found out yesterday.

Uyabukwa covered her mouth, screaming internally at the stupidity she was hearing on the phone.

Iyana: I don't know how I feel, but what kills me the most is the fact that he didn't sound excited or happy about this.

Uya: You expected him to be happy about the pregnancy when he has a w- mh – phew! Okay, so what's the next step?

Iyana: I don't know Uya... Zwelethu is launching a business soon, his whole world is sucked into that right now. There's literally nothing else that matters except for that... I don't know.

Uya breathed and looked behind her for a second.

She was visiting Siya in East London, it was her third week and not even one of her friends knew she was there, because she just wanted to spend some exclusive time with her man.

Iyana: I don't want to abort it...

Uya: Do you at least have a solid plan ke? If things don't work out with Clive?

Iyana: No I don't. But aborting is not an option.

Uya: Is giving the child up for adoption a better option then?

Iyana: No friend... I uhm... I messed up, I know, but I think I will withstand the consequences.

Uya: Yho.
