Chapter Two

Her face pitifully. "Why does your face look like that?" he raised one eyebrow. "I don't have a class with you, except this class and freshman seminar, second period tomorrow, Your next classroom is upstairs" I added "You have first lunch by the way" I informed him.

"What's freshman seminar? mate," he asked me innocently. "Is like to help freshman, the newbies like us transition smoothly into new high school environments" I said giving him an 'are you dumb' look on my face.

"A boring class" I informed him.

"Okay, thanks see you tomorrow alright?" He added "or during lunch, if we meet again?" He got out of the class to the hallway that was full of students.

When the hallway began to quiet down, someone grabbed my shoulder and said "Hey, girl what you doing over here by yourself". I turn around and see a popular kid in the school that likes to bully me. He pushed me against the locker and it hurt my hand so badly, but I endured it. "Why would you do that??" I tugged him. He groaned and gave me a dead stare. I tried to run, but I stumbled.

He grabbed my leg and pulled me towards the stairs. I tried to stop him "stop, Julian!!" I yelled at him and he pushed me down the stairs.

Oliver was passing near the stairs and saw Matilda fall down the stairs again he ran and helped her. "What happens to you??" he questioned. I cried "it's really hurt really bad, someone pushed me down the stairs." He hugged me tightly "it's fine I will help you every time you need my help" he gave me his phone number. "Thanks for helping me" I said while wiping my tears.

"Oh it's so cute, new student with baby Matilda" Julian chuckle. "Shut up, you dumb ass" Oliver said "Leave her alone", Julian walk away.

"Let's go, give me your hand" he added "I walked you down to the nurse's office" then we walked in silence and it isn't the uncomfortable silence it's the silence that makes your heart pounding so hard.

I think he could hear my heart pounding out of my chest "is your heart pounding out of your chest or something?" He asked with that boyish smirk on his face.

"Are you kidding me? I'm not okay" I added "you almost pushed my temper here," I was annoyed now.

We can see the nurse's office sign on top of the door and we enter the room.

He brings me in to the nurse's office. "Can I get a pack of ice and a bandage" he asked the nurse. My heart was pounding looking at him he is so cute I like him, but I can't I have a girlfriend.

"What happened to you mate?" he said softly. "It's been a long time, Julian Mitchell always bullied me since seventh grade, he is my worst nightmare" Matilda drops one of her tears on Oliver's hand. "It's hurts a lot, Oliver don't do it so rough" I yelled. I hugged his arm tightly and cried.

He wiped my tears with his thumb and went with me to the cafeteria. "Let's go to the cafeteria to eat" he added "I will be next to you the whole way"

We both entered the cafeteria and my friend's eyes were turning to me, wide eyed and all because I hold his hand.

I introduced him to my group of friends. "Guys, this is Oliver, my new friend," I introduced him to them. "H..Hey nice to meet you guys" he said with a groggy voice. "Why are you so groggy, bro?" I chuckled at him. His cheeks are getting redder. "You're so cute, bro" I praise him and hold his cheeks.

All my friends are shocked by what I did.
