The box

Newts POV ::

We were all about to go to the homestead to get ome sleep when we heard the box coming up. "THE BOX ITS EARLY!" Gally screamed as he ran over to the box, the other boys trailing behind him like lost puppies.

"Let's see this shank then." one of them said.
"Yeah!" another screamed.
I just rolled my eyes and banged past them. "Hop in Newt." Gally said as he opened the roof of the box.
I jumped down to the floor and saw it was a girl.
"What do you see Newt?" Frypan asked.
"It's a girl?" I said a bit confused.
"What?" I heard most of the boys murmur and tall to each other.
"I think she's dead?" I said looking at her unresponsive body.
"Take her to Medjack." Alby commanded.

I lifted her up and walked her to the Medjack hut, her brown short hair tickling my arm. I looked at her gourges face until we got to the hut, "Hey Jeff, Clint, I think the greenies dead?" I said once I got through the door.
"Put her on the table." Jeff said looking at her.
"ITS A GIRL!?" He asked staring at me
"Yeah u was confused too." I said with my thumb on my bottom lip and chin.

"It's okay she's just unconsious." Jeff said after about 10 minutes.
I let out a sigh of relief. I dont know why I just have an instant protection for this girl, I swear I somehow remember her.

The next morning I went to check up on her. "JEFF, CLINT!" I screamed
"Whoa Whoa Whoa, what's wrong Newt?"
"SHIT."
"WHERE IS SHE?"
"I DONT KNOW!"
"HELP ME LOOK FOR HER THEN.?!"
"OKAY!"
We ran out the Medjack hut looking for the girl. "I'll look in the woods, you look in the buildings, the rest of you look round the glade." I said to the boys.

I ran into the woods looking for the girl.
"Hey, greenie, where are you?"
As I went deeper into the woods I heard some laughter.
where the heck was this girl or was the gladers playing some sort of trick on me.
"Hey blondie, up here!" I heard a girl voice say. I looked uo to the tree above me and saw the girl resting on one of the branches.

"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING UP THERE FOR?" I asked the girl.
"Come up here quick, before they hear you."
Whatever what's the worst that could happen. I climbed up the tree until I reached the thick branch the girl was also on.
"Right now will you tell me what's going on?" "Why are you up here??" I asked the girl who was sitting crossed legged with her back against the tree.

"What is this place?" she asked.
"It's called the glade." I told her
"Why am i here and why can't I remeber anything."  she asked looking into my eyes.
"None of us know, but your name, that will come back to you in a few days."
"Phoebe."
"What?"
"My name, it's Phoebe." she said looking behind me and through the trees into the glade.
"Just look at the view, it's gourges." She said as she looked into the distance.

"Hey Newt, is she up there?" Gally asked with the other boys behind him.
"Yeah." I said looking down at him my legs dangling off the edges off the tree branch.
"Does she want to come down?" Alby asked a bit annoyed at her.
I looked back at the girl she shook her head.
"No." I said
"Well she has no choice, bring her down." He said looking up at us.

"OI I SAID NO SO THAT MEANS FUCKING NO, NOW LEAVE ME ALONE FOR A FEW FUCKING SECONDS BEFORE I GET DOWN THERE AND SLAP THE ATTITUDE OUT OF YOU!!" She screamed at Alby looking down at him and giving him the middle finger.
"WHOOOOOOOO, the greenie has an attitude." I heard some of the boys murmur to eachother but a quick glance from Alby shut them up.

"Now leave me alone!" she screamed at the boys. I gave Minho a look and he guided the boys away. "Hey, hey, hey its okay, don't get worked up over them, there just stupid. Let's just enjoy the view for a but then I can show you around." I said to her when I saw her hands tightend into fists. "Okay." she replied as she started back into the glade.
