Meetings and sleeping

Once we got to the meeting room, everyone was staring at me because Newt was carrying me and my arms were wrapped around his neck. He placed me on a chair next to him at the front of the room.

"So, we all know what this meeting is about, the greenie threatened me so i think she's in the pit for a week." Alby said pointing at me.

"Not at the moment she needs treatment have you see-." Newt argument but i cut him off.

"Its okay i can speak for myself, right first of all my name is Phoebe, not greenie so respect that, second of all yes i was rude to you but you tried to make me do something that i didn't want to do, and i said no so that means no. You don't need to put me in the 'pit', if i can teach you some fucking manners, got that!?" 

Everyone just looked at me in shock and i just replied with a simple"Good that!" "Can i leave now, i don't want to be in here with that mannerless son of a shuck anymore than i have to."

"Ofcourse." Newt said as he stood up and picked me up carrying my back to the Medjack hut.

"That was some speech." He said as he placed me down on the bed.

"Thank you." i said i tired to sit up.

"What are you doing??" he asked  

"Trying to walk." i said as i looked down at the floor and placed my feet on the floor

"Okay, i'll be here if you need me." He said holding his arms out for me incase i fell.

"Im fine!" i said as i stood up, holding onto his hand for support. 

"See!" i said as i started walking around. He slowly let go of my hands and let me walk on my own,

"Okay so we'll have the bonfire tomorrow, just please get some rest." he said before picking me up and placing me on the bed.

"Hey Newt." I heard a boys voice say.

"Hey Tommy." Newt said without turning round.

"How is she?" tommy asked

"She's okay, but you could ask her yourself." Newt said as he moved out the way to reveal a tall browned haired boy with a blue t-shirt and dark blue baggy jeans.

"Hey" i said to him once i saw him.

"H-H-h-hey" he said staring at me

"It's rude to stare you know." i said waving my hands around to catch his attention.

"Oh yeah sorry." he said finally knocking out of his trance. Newt just giggled and sat down on the stool next to my bed.

"Wait, no i'm not sleeping in here again, no offence these beds are uncomfortable as shuck." i said sitting up.

"Well you're definitely not sleeping with the other boys, god knows what they would try and do to you, i guess you can sleep in my hut until the builders make your hut?" He asked me in a sort of questioning tone to see if i was okay with it.

"Yes that's fine I guess." I said looking down at the floor to stand up again.
"Okay Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa, calm down love." Love? that was new
"What did I do this time?"
"Slow down!" He said pushing me back on the bed.
"Whatever." I said standing up and walking out the room holding onto each of the beds for support.
"WAIT WAIT WAIT, let me walk you." He said holding out his hand to guide me.

Once we got to his hut I asked if I could borrow a blanket and a pillow.
"What do you mean I'm sleeping outside on the hammock, you can sleep on the bed?" he said
"Oh okay thank you, are you sure?"
"Yes yes I'm fine." he said as he walked out the room.
"Goodnight love." He said.
It made me blush a little,  but that was normal, right.
"Wait!" I said as he was about to leave.
"Yes?"
"Can you stay in here please, I don't feel safe near them." I said looking at him.
"Okay sure." He said grabbing the blanket near his door.

"Thank you." I said "I can sleep on the floor you know?"
"But that is no way to treat a lady now is it." he said witha fake posh tone.
"Goodnight." He said as he layed down and used his jumper as a pillow.
I waited till I think he was asleep and slid a pillow under his head.
"Goodnight." I whisperd and fell asleep a few minutes later.
