Stormcutter rested on the shore of the cove, napping but now and then opening her eyes to watch her rider and ensure you were safe. you sat in the wet sand, letting the water rush to shore and covered your feet before retreating into the sea. the sea air was not kind to your hair, but you cared none. you sat alone with your thoughts as the night cleared. you knew you would have to return at some point but the idea of not returning became more and more appealing the longer you sat and thought. you closed your eyes listening to the sounds of water crashing. you were your father's daughter, after all, a Velaryon born of the sea.

Storm cutter growled, her head tilting up at the sky. Irritation climbed your throat knowing someone was in the sky above you, someone coming to bring you home. The loud thud of a dragon landing shook the beached ground.

The sound of boots trucking through the sand, and the feeling of someone approaching. Stormcutter growled at the presence. You turned your gazes from the ocean and looked at your Betrothed

you sighed before talking, "If someone disappears, they don't wish to be found"

"Is the thought of marrying me so bad you run away?" He demanded an answer

"Now what in the seven hells are you talking about?" you said back staring at him

"You were so upset after the toast," he said

"Yeah, because I hate being the center of attention," you hissed throwing your hands up

Stormcutter moves closer to your form protectively

"Gods, are you that insecure?" you said

He looked offended by your words and turned away from you, and immediately as the words left your mouth you regretted even speaking

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it," you said stepping closer to him

it was like you both were children again and you really didn't mean it

"Remember after you got your scar and you told me that "no one could love a ruined prince"?" you asked

you saw him nod

"I wanted to scream at you then, I would," you said "I could love a ruined Prince"

You noticed his shoulders relax and he turned to look at you, he was slightly blushing, you walked closer to him and held his cheek.

"I want to marry you," you said

He leaned into your touch as he is hands snaked on your waist and he pressed his forehead onto yours.

"I've been dreaming of that day when you kissed me, stole my sword, and ran away from me" he spoke, "I remember it vividly"

you closed your eyes as a smile rested nicely on your features

"I'd stroke my cock to it nightly," he said quietly

"Have you no shame?" you smirked

Lips press onto yours and you melted into his touch slightly. Years of tension were released in this kiss, he held you as if you would disappear at any given moment. You pulled away

"Aemond," you said breathy "bēmagon aōla" (restrain yourself)

Stromcutter glared at Aemond from behind you and Vhagar was not impressed either. He smirked and kissed you quickly

"Aemond," you said in a warning tone

"What? you are to be my lady wife," he said and pulled your hips flush against his

"Umbagon syt īlva ēlī bantis, pār kostā emagon nyke," you told him and took his hand off your waist (Wait for our first night, then you can have me)

he frowns and stepped back from you, "sȳz," he says (fine)

"Now how about that race you promised?" you said

He then smiled again

"race you home!" you said quickly and run to Stormcutter

________

Kings Landing looked so insignificant from the back of a dragon. The city grew in size as you descended on your beast, and brisk night wind bet on your face as you looked for Vhagar.

A childish grin grew on his face as he looked down on his cousin once again, he leaned down pressing his body closer to his mount's, "Dohaeragon, Vhagar, adere."(Serve me, Vhagar, faster.) He shouted to the dragon who obeyed and flew downward as her speed increased significantly.

he flew ahead of his cousin he turned to glance at your reaction, upon seeing your eyes narrowed and mouth spewing words of command he leaned back in his saddle, laughing as he threw his head back.

"dive!" you commanded

Stormcutter then climbed high into the sky and the white clouds, Aemond watched as you disappeared, he spun his head around searching for you, unsure of what you would do next. Returning his attention flying he urged Vhagar to slow down as he still had not spotted his betrothed. You flew over your landing spot and she dove, her wings coming into her body suddenly breaking through the clouds a lot further ahead than he had originally begun, and you laughed as. Aemond was no longer racing you, instead, he sat contently on his dragon admiring you in all your beauty, smiling softly to himself as he listened to your shouts of joy. you turned around and grinned at him before looking at the ground below you, Stromcutters wings fly open and like a parachute slower the descent. He could not hear you but saw your small hand point to a grassy land below, following your pursuit with his dragon.

As the two dragons landed with a thunderous boom Aemond unlatched the leathered straps that had held him in the saddle on his dragon's back. Quickly he climbed the rope ladder attached to Vhagar down to the ground, resting a gentle hand on the large beast's head

"Kirimvose," he whispered, slowly drawing his hand back to his side before turning to watch as you dismounted your beast

"thank you, sweet girl," you said and placed a hand on her head

Stormcutter purred and you turned to Aemond

"I told you," you said

"You would not have been able to beat Vhagar had I not slowed to ensure your presence, cousin." Aemond retorted, rolling his eyes at his clear loss.

"Sure," you stated before beginning to walk toward the tunnels that would lead you back into the Red Keep

Aemond furrowed his brow, his legs moving to catch up with the girl. Easily he did due to his long strides. you came to the door that would lead the two into your chambers. you pushed the heavy door open.

"where have you been?" the words shocked you

you jumped slightly, "Heyyyy," you said leaning on the doorframe

"Where have you been," Rhaenys said

she had been a mother-like figure and Lord Corlys a father figure to you after your father's death and you were grateful to her

"I went out for a ride," you said "I wouldn't flee from my duties"

you crossed your arms

"Prince Aemond, thank you for going out to look for my niece and bringing her back safely." Rhaenys turned to Aemond who kept a neutral expression on his face

"We had many things to discuss," Aemond replied, in his low and soft-spoken voice despite there being a hidden emotion in his throat

"Goodnight," you said to them, telling them passive-aggressively to leave

"We must all get as much sleep as we can. You may have ventured out until the middle of the night but that does not stop the wedding planning that will begin in only a few hours," Rhaenys said with a smirk

"yes, yes" you shooed them "goodnight"
