You sat in Aeron's room in a rocking chair, reading to Aeron. You look up at the door as it opened. Aemond walked in

"How are my dear lady wife and my sweet son," He said stepping to you and kissing your forehead

"Quite well, how was your trip?" you asked

"Quite well," he mimicked

you smiled and so did he

"I got you something," he says reaching into his back pocket

he pulled out an ethereal-looking necklace, You moved your hair as he walked behind you, clasping the necklace around your neck. He then stands in front of you admiring it on you, then leaned setting a kiss on your lips

"You know, you don't have to wear that all the time," you said holding his face

You then moved your hand to unclasp the eyepatch

"I don't want to scare the baby," he said quietly holding your hand

"My love," you said sweetly, "You won't"

he then let go of your hand, letting the patch fall into your lap. The gem shining, you placed a loving kiss on the scar. Aeron starts to fuss and you stand up, walking tentatively over to the babe. You picked up the small being turning to Aemond, who stood nervously

You walked to stand in front of him, looked at him, and handed him the still-fussing babe. He looked at you before taking the child carefully, the babe looked at him with wide, sparkling eyes before quieting and reaching out to him.

You smiled at the interaction, he smiles slightly before bringing his finger to the babe's grasping hand. He looked at you with this look of pure joy, you placed a hand on his shoulder coaxing him outside of the room

he shook his head at you, his brows furrowed slightly

"Come on, you don't need it," you told him pushing him out the door

Aemond then sighed as you hooked your arm around his, the Aeron now quietly resting against his chest. You both walked around the castle, people of the court giving glances. He had not walked around without that eyepatch since the incident and you felt this was the only way for him to truly heal.

"They keep staring at me," he whispered

"It's new, they'll stare," you said back in a sweet whisper

You then saw Alicent who gave a glance before looking back just as quickly as she looked away, she walked over to you and looked at her son

"What is this?" she said with a smile

"It's been long enough.." he said

"Well you look handsome," she says placing a hand on his shoulder before turning and continuing on

a smile tugged at his lips, He looks at you and you smile

"See," you teased him

he shifted Aeron to rest against his shoulder, as we continued to walk, the reaction you wished to see most was Jacaerys and Luceryss' reactions. He handed you the babe and you took him, You both walked into the dragon pit to see Lucerys and Jacaerys showing off their dragons to Joffery. They noticed you as you smiled at the interaction, siblings fighting, it was all you wanted for your child.

"Auntie!" Joffery said alerting your other nephews

"Hello sweet boy," you said with a smile, "how are my Nephews?"

"We're good," Jace said holding back laughter

you smiled at the boys, Joffery then pointed at Aemond
