The professor was explaining the subject when he saw that Akihito was holding his head as if it could fall. He got worried and asked the boy:
-Takaba, what's happening? Are you okay?
Akihito didn't answer and a classmate asked:
-Do you want to go to the infirmary? I can go with you. Let's go.
The boy stood up and fell down. The classmates approached him, worried. He was with his eyes closed and it was obvious that he had fainted. The professor told the students to go away, saying that he needed to breath. Akihito opened his eyes and the professor spoke:
-Takaba, go to the infirmary and take a rest. You're feeling those headaches again, aren't you? You should see a doctor in order to know what is wrong.
The boy couldn't speak. He was feeling really embarrassed. A classmate offered himself to go with him to the infirmary and, when they went, the nurse, a kind middle-aged woman asked him:
-Are you with a headache again, boy? Ok, lay down and rest a little. Try to rest and don't worry about anything.
Akihito laid down. The headache was still Strong and he was scared. What was happening with him? The nurse smiled to him and asked if he needed anything.
-No,thanks. I will just rest before going to attend classes again.
-You should see a doctor. Said the classmate that had accompanied him to the infirmary.
The nurse asked what had happened and the boy explained that Akihito had fainted. The nurse looked seriously at Akihito and told him to rest, speaking with a concerned voice:
-We can't neglect our health, Takaba-kun. Well, rest now. If I were you I would go home after getting better.
The classamate left the infirmary and Akihito closed his eyes, asking himself what was happening. He had never felt such a Strong headache before. Was he with a serious illness? It was the first time he felt so scared in his life, especially because he could feel something was really wrong inside his body. The previous day, he had felt difficulties to hold a glass and had also felt a numbness in his right arm. Definitely, something was wrong.
"Am I with a degenerative illness?"
The nurse approached him and spoke:
-Are you still with a headache?
-I am feeling better, I swear.
After half an hour, the nurse came and told him:
-I called your brother and he is coming here in order to take you home.
Akihito got angry. He was feeling better and wanted to watch his classes again. The nurse explained:
-You can't go on this way, Takaba-kun. You need to rest this day and see a doctor. I had accepted that your headaches could be just a migraine, but fainting that way can be the sign of a serious illness. Stop being so stubborn and take care of your health.
He didn't have much time to complain because his brother came after some minutes, with the eyes full of concern. Akihito didn't know if he felt relieved of more anxious.
Takaba Akira was a handsome man, five centimeters taller than Akihito. He had a muscular constitution and a serious expression. The nurse couldn't help speaking:
-You don't look alike.
-No. I look like our father and Akihito looks like our mother. Aki, the nurse told me you fainted during the class. What is happening? Does it have to do with those headaches?
