Akihito woke up feeling very relaxed. It was weekend and he wouldn't have to go to the university or to work. So, he would be able to find Takato and Kou to go out.
He got up and decided to take a shower before eating something. Then, he heard his cellphone ringing and took it.
-Akihito...
-Akihito, my son. How are you?
The boy got surprised. Why was his father phoning him so early in a weekend? Had anything wrong happened? Trying to hide that he was nervous, Akihito answered:
-I am ok, father. And you? Are you fine? How is mom?
-Your mother is doing very well. I phoned you because I was worried and decided to know if you are ok.
Akihito didn't understand. What was happening? His father was such a calm man that never got worried without a good reason.
-But father, I am fine. I am enjoying the university and my work. Why did you get worried?
-My son, I had a strange dream where you went away from us. In this dream, there was a stair and you said that you should go to heaven and that we shouldn't go with you.
The words of the father sounded very scary but Akihito answered smiling:
-Father, it was just a dream. I am in perfect health and I am sure I am going to live enough to become a photojornalist. I don't understand why you are so worried. You've never believed in dreams.
-I hope you are in perfect health, Akihito. Well, promise me a thing: if something is wrong, go to stay with your brother. Akira has Always been like a second father for you. I still remember when I went to live in Yokohama again. Akira said that you could live with him while you were still a student. Unfortunately, you decided to live on your own. And if you need something don't go to stay with Akane. I don't trust your sister. She is an airhead. Even you have more sense than her.
-Father, don't speak these things. Akane is graduating in Arts. She will become a great artist someday. And I will be a professional photographer. And also remember that I promised you that I would stay away from problems.
-I know, my son. You have an excellent viewpoint. Well, I am going to solve some problems now. But promise me: if you need something, if there is something wrong hapenning, contact us.
Akihito told his father that he would do it and, after turning off the phone he began to think. What would his father say if he told him he was having headaches and had fainted during a class? No, he wouldn't tell his father anything. Deciding to forget everything, Akihito went to take a shower and think about his plans for the weekend. That Saturday, it was Yoshida's birthday and they all had prepared a surprise. Akihito would enjoy to take photos of the party.
Looking at his image at the mirror, Akihito thought about the headaches he was having and concluded that he was scared. Apparently, there was nothing wrong with him, he seemed to be in perfect health, but Akihito could feel that there was something wrong inside him. What was happening to him? He was afraid of fainting again. Was he with a degenerative illness? Takato had said that headaches could be a sympton of a brain tumor. Was it possible that he had a brain tumor?
Concluding that he was scared, Akihito took a shower and went to eat his breakfast, praying that nothing wrong happened in Yoshida's birthday. What would happen if he began to feel those headaches or fainted during the party? It would be very horrible.
Preparing his breakfast, Akihito thought about Asami. The man was really fascinating and mysterious. And how could have they dreamed about one another before knowing each other? Was there a kind of spiritual connection between them? Had they known each other from another life? Perhaps it was a case of reincarnation, but who could explain it? Akihito began to feel a little disturbed. That man seemed to have a kind of power. Who was Asami Ryuichi?
