After their brief meeting with Sikong Zhaixing, the three warriors then returned to the home that supposedly belonged to a member of the Red Shoes' sect. As they re-entered the home, they were much more cautious, keeping their senses sharp for any gaseous traps like the one they had experienced before. But fortunately, it now seemed that there were no traps remaining.

Giving a small pat on the birdcage holding the white carrier pigeons, which were all still alive, Lu Xiaofeng then tied one of Sikong Zhaixing's written messages to all of the birds' feet, holding the birds close to his chest. "They should all go to the same place, in which case I'll take to the rooftops, and you two follow me from the ground," Lu Xiaofeng said as they exited the home once more. "But, in the case that they don't, we should split up and all take to the rooftops with our lightness skills."

Hua Manlou and Jiang Qing nodded in agreement and understanding of Lu Xiaofeng's plan. And, as Lu Xiaofeng had expected upon releasing the birds, all began to fly in one direction — the three following the birds closely.

The birds soon reached Qixia Temple, and, as it was a relatively well-guarded area by the nuns, Hua Manlou and Jiang Qing also leapt to the rooftops to join Lu Xiaofeng, slipping past the several nuns as the birds flew to one of the worshipping rooms. As expected from their previous knowledge, Lan Yanxia then soon intercepted the birds, removing the small piece of paper from the bird.

But then, Lan Yanxia also began to travel elsewhere, and the three again followed her, to a multi-family-style manor. Lu Xiaofeng quickly hid around the edges of the walls, while the other two also followed his lead. All were extremely cautious in such strange new territories, but Jiang Qing and Lu Xiaofeng still peered around their corners, watching Lan Yanxia and her interactions from a moderately safe distance.

"Fourth Sister!" a voice greeted.

"My, aren't you two always punctual?" Lan Yanxia asked. "Second and Third Sister, what did you two get?"

"You'd better see mine first," one of the sisters said, rustling through a cloth bag, and unwrapping it. "The market isn't great this month. We only received less than 300,000 taels. Second Sister, I'll hand it over to you, now."

The woman who was presumably the aforementioned second sister began to unravel her bag as well, revealing clumps of long hair. "Second Sister, if these people bully their peers and dominate the market again, you should not only cut their hair off next time but scalp them as well," Lan Yanxia said.

"It's a pity that I can never catch enough of these people," the third sister said. "The amount of money my sister receives is getting smaller and smaller, while I'm cutting off more and more hair."

Lan Yanxia shook her head, bundling both sets of items back up. "There are so many people suffering in this world. It's all because of these bullies. The number of people coming to Qixia Temple to get relief is increasing, too. I can hardly even handle it anymore as abbot."
