numbness.

that's all you felt when you sinked into the ocean. You felt so numb, so cold as if the ice in the mornings of the barren lands encased you. There would be nothing that could warm you. You felt arms yank you up and your head broke the ocean, your eyes locking onto the limp body of miles, dead and returned back to eywa.

Your love,

Your chosen mate.

A kiss of a promise of a future,

now taken from you.

A scream left you a loud cry of a broken heart and a cracked soul.

You saw the fakers grabbing him pulling your miles away.

Another scream,

He said he'd take you home.

He promised that you'd both go home.

He finally admitted that it was his home! Not those endless halls of colorless hell, But the bright golden waves of sand with its lifeful plants and strong breathing animals.

A scream that shook the waters with the emotion of a cracked soul.

The navis ears drooped back and their own eyes began to water at the sounds of the broken cries from the siren.

Despite them winning this battle, there would be no true victory. There would not be any celebration, This was nothing to cheer from, this was sadness.

A recon soldier felt a tremble in his chest, his yellowed eyes landing onto that female savage his colonel insisted on keeping and insisted on lying about his plans for it.

And he knew that these weren't just the mourning screams for a companion, nor the screams of a friend, Nor just the screams for a lover. These were the screams of a bond so much stronger, The raw emotions shaking and charging the air with raw emotion. He looked at the female whose eyes shined with the entire sun, glowing so bright he could see them clear as day. Those eyes that demanded life, Life back into those she lost. They demanded a life, for a life.  He was rushed to the copter as he thought about everything. Lyle made an unspoken promise: He would make sure quaritch would meet that female again.

Hands went to your arms to comfort you.

You thrashed them off.

"'DO NOT TOUCH ME!'" you hissed as you bended on the animal sobbing.

Lo'ak looked at his siblings, tears in his eyes as he motioned for kiri to get the animal moving.

His eyes locked on spider who stared at the woman, his own heart break showing brightly.

Lo'ak softly held his shoulder causing spider to look at him in shock.

"'I see you, brother."' Lo'ak spoke gently and he could see the breaking emotion in spider as he quickly embraced him in a hug sobbing. Lo'ak held onto his younger brother, comforting him as he made sure everyone got back to the village safely.

Everyones murmured as a desert navi moved through the docs surrounded by the sully children. The eyes of a dying sun in one's eyes slowly become duller in Her eyes. Tonowari Had announced that they would welcome the woman, and His wife Ronal carefully moved the mourning woman to a hut. There in the privacy of the Hut she held the young woman like a mother would to her child and she felt the trembles wrack through her. Your cries and sobs as you broke down to your knees made her own heart quiver in waves of sadness as she met the floor with you.  She moved to a basket of items and pulled them out and performed a sacred ritual of mourning the losses that fulfilled one's soul. She moved a basket of bead making tools and various other bead worth materials in front of the female.
