Prologue
---

After signing the divorce papers, Tomisin stepped out of the house to the garage in grief. She got into her car, thinking on what to do next after signing the divorce papers.

Feeling frustrated, she placed her head on the steering wheel and started wailing bitterly.

She was not ready to leave her husband though. She didn't know why she had signed it in the first place.

Why can't she refuse to sign the papers?

Could it be out of frustration?

Could it be that Zoe won over her?

Was she fed up of fighting for her home?

"No..." she screamed in tears and raised her head. Then, she saw her husband moving his luggage out of the house and into his car with the assistance of the househelp.

Femi had planned to travel abroad to work in one of his father's companies to cool off his head after signing the papers.

Tears were flowing down freely from her eyes as she watched her husband hop into his car and getting set to drive out.

'Is this how my marriage will end up? Is this how I'm going to end up my relationship with Femi? Is this how easy it was for Femi to end this relationship?' she thought within herself as he watched him in this belief.

She couldn't take it any longer and kept on pushing the honk button, as if telling him to stop the car and give her a second chance.

But, Femi was determined. He was playing a loud music in his car as he drove out of the compound with great speed.

Was he truly done with her?

It doesn't seem so though...

He held his breathe as he drove away wearing a sad look.

---

Few minutes after her husband had left, Tomisin drove out of the garage and out as if putting a tail on her husband. She drove for an hour plus without a destination and no traces of Femi could be found.

She was absentminded that she was driving towards the outskirts of the town.

A call from her friend 'Bridget' came through and she picked up.

"Hey girl, where are you?" Bridget asked over the phone as soon as Tomisin picked up, and Tomisin went mute as she put the phone on speaker to hear what she has to say. "I know you can hear me and would love it if you can forget and erase this guy called 'Femi' out of your mind and memory. You can't just believe who I bumped into at the airport. Femi was here with that girl Zoe, they walked hand-in-hand as they stroll down the way to the security clearance line. I can't just believe this. But babes, I didn't call you to make you feel sad but just want you to move on. Because, this guy won't give a damn if you die or injure yourself." she paused at the other end. She was trying to watch Femi and Zoe closely. "I promise to call you once I get to the States. Bye babes and take good care of yourself." she ended the call without even paying attention to her friend. She didn't bother if the news would hurt her friend more or not.

Tomisin's eyes were clouded with tears as she was determined to concentrate on her driving and try not to hurt herself and focus more on herself as Bridget had said, she needed to move on and forget about him.

Suddenly, a truck was driving towards her direction, because it was a one-way lane. The speed at which the truck was moving made her conscious of where she was at that moment. But, before she could adjust and concentrate, the driver had hit her car into the thick forest that laid by the roadside. The forest has a mountain behind with a little river. The sound of her car tumbling and rolling down the hills could be heard and it tumbled into the river.

---

An hour after the accident, Tomisin managed to get out of the car. She was unconscious of herself, her clothes were torn in pieces and her body and face were filled with scratches and blood.

She was gasping for breathe as she managed to crawl out of the damaged car and swam out of the little river. She kept on managing herself and crawled into the bushes. Standing, falling, limping and managing herself as she cries for help. She looked as if she could die at that rate.

Banji and Udoh were heading towards the outskirt of Abuja, heading towards Zaria axis. They were having an event where they were to prepare the meal for a wedding party as the caterer.

They'd all necessary equipment used for catering services at the trunk of the bus they used for the catering services.

"I hope we get to our destination on time. We ought to be at the venue by now and plan against tomorrow, but your babe kept us from meeting up with time. Now time is not on our side. And you know I don't like late night travelling." Banji nagged over Udoh as he drove along the lonely path that would soon leads to their destination.

"It's better for you to find a babe that will be keeping your company as mine. And don't turn yourself to all these Deeper life and Mountain of Fire brothers. Banji, GET YOURSELF A GIRL..." Udoh advised smiling and Banji scoffed.

Banji was about to hit the last turning of the road when he saw a figure crawling at the middle of the road. He stopped the car all of a sudden as fear gripped him.

"What's going on?" Udoh, who wasn't concentrating on the road asked and Banji pointed at what he saw shivering with fear. "Is that a human being?" He asked in bewilderment after glaring at the figure who had stood up and coming towards their direction. "Guy, slam the car into reverse or hit this thing, because i don't believe if this creature am seeing right now is real." Udoh instructed and Banji shook his head.

"I guess this person needs help."

"Guy, are you for real? And you grew up in Lagos o... You know all these bandits' tactics. Do you want us to fall a victim? With all the things happening in this country, this might be a trap you know..." Udoh was getting frustrated as he speaks, and Banji switched on the full-light of the car to confirm if the figure heading slowly towards them was truly injured. "This is not funny at all... Let's switch, if you are too scared to drive."

"Diana..." Banji drawled as he recognizes the figure approaching them.

"I guess you are seeing things in another dimension. Because I see no reason why you will mistaken these creature to be your Ex."

"Guy, I'm damn serious. This is Diana." he said and open the car door to step out to meet her.

"This guy is not normal." Udoh said scoffing and alighted from the passenger's seat to take over the driver's seat.

"Diana... What are you doing here? Why are you filled with blood?" Banji asked as he rushed to meet Tomisin.

"Help me... Please... I'm dying..." Tomisin pleaded to Banji as she fell into his shoulders. It seems she passed out.

To be continued...

But, how come Tomisin is Diana?
