Femi who had parked his car a few meters from the house and had slept over in the car saw Tomisin stepping out of the building, being gorgeously dressed.
He watched her flag down a cab, and he wondered where he was heading to that early. He thought she might be heading to the restaurant. He stretched his arm, placed it on the steering wheel, and follow the cab slowly.
Meanwhile, Zoe who was heading to Femi's house to check up on him because she had been frequenting his office to meet his absence, sighted Tomisin stepping out of the building from afar. She was surprised to see the woman she dealt with a few days back, gorgeously dressed and coming out of Femi's residence. Though, she had watched the viral video of Olanrewaju's confession but was surprised that she could return to her matrimonial home.
She noticed that Femi's car was been parked a few meters away from the building, and she sensed that something was wrong between the two. When Femi drove after Tomisin's car, she started her car engine and followed.

@Chief Odetola's residence
Tomisin stepped into the vast living room of her father's house looking elegant. The news about what Olanrewaju did had gone viral, so her parents already knew about it, but Jadesola was yet to speak.
"Mum,” she called out softly and Jadesola who was not too deep in her sleep, opened her eyes slowly to meet Tomisin's face glaring and smiling at her. "Mummy, your daughter is back,” she said smiling, and her eyes clouded with tears.
Jadesola sat up and stretched forth her arms to receive her daughter with a hug.
"O…O…lu…wa…Tomisin mi…” Jadesola, who had refused to speak for years stuttered with tears flowing down freely from her eyes.
"OluwaTomisin,” Chief Odetola called out as he descended the stairs into the living room. "Thank God you were able to survive all that,” he added and walked up to where Jadesola and Tomisin were. "Why are people so heartless? He came here to inform us about that incident himself.” Chief Odetola was referring to Olanrewaju. “Little did we know he was behind everything. He still went ahead to arrange the fake funeral. He succeeded in that because he knew quite well that it was against the tradition for the parents to witness their child's burial arrangement. He acted like a saint and kept checking up on us when your mother almost ran mad due to the shock of the news. Haaa… Olanrewaju…” Chief Odetola pressed his lips and shook his head in pity over the thought of what Olanrewaju had done to his daughter. He kept mute as he couldn't express what he could use in qualifying Olanrewaju's act anymore.

Femi pulled over in front of Chief Odetola's residence. He had watched when Tomisin had entered and he remain seated in his car with no effrontery to go in because he was feeling guilty about his brother's crime.
His phone rang interrupting his thought on how to apologize to his ex-in-law.
He shifted his gaze from the entrance gate of Chief Odetola's house to his phone. Zoe happened to be the caller.
“Hello, Mr. Femi,” Zoe said after he picked up the call. “Can we meet now?”
“Hope all is well?” he asked and Zoe responded positively. “I will come to see you at your office soon,” he promised. Little did he know that Zoe was close to where he was. She was just feeling jealous about Femi falling in love with Tomisin again. She could still feel that Femi still loved his wife dearly.
“Okay, see you soon,” she said grudgingly and ended the call.
