Four days after the automobile accident, Olanrewaju Martins came home with the news of Tomisin's death.
He said he heard it from a source that a car that belongs to Tomisin was found at the riverside of a mountain. Her identity card, driver's license, and passport were found in the car.
Femi's parents were sad to receive the news. Lucia pretended to be sad as well, but within, she was the happiest human being on earth. To her, her worst enemy is dead.
“What about Uncle Femi, should we keep the news from him for the time being?” Lucia asked after minutes of silence.
“We should inform him. He must know about it.” Femi's father suggested.
“Dad, from my point of view, Femi is not done with his late wife. I could see that he was just pretending to be. If the news of her death should reach him right now, it's going to be a very serious issue. We all know how he reacted when he lost his only child two years ago. I guess this will damage so many things if he should hear about this now.” Olanrewaju gave his suggestion concerning the matter. “He will abandon whatsoever he's doing over there and travel back. I don't think Femi can handle this situation for now.”
“Though her character is very bad, to me, her death came as a shock and it's so painful. Have her parents heard about the news of her death?” Felicia asked in a remorseful manner and Olanrewaju shook his head.
“I will go inform them tonight,” Olanrewaju replied
“Haaa…only child… How is the mother going to react to this news?” Felicia exclaimed with a shaky voice.
“What about her body?” Olamide, ‘Femi's father’ asked
“It's in the mortuary as I speak.”
“I want you to take care of her burial and stand by her parents, so they won't feel the family of her ex-husband neglected them at this moment. And whatever they need, you can let me know so we can provide it for them.” the father added and Olanrewaju agreed.

Four days after Tomisin woke up after receiving treatment at the hospital, the doctor confirmed to Banji and Udoh that she Is suffering from Amnesia.Tomisin couldn't remember who she was, where she was coming from and neither does she remember she once had a child all the memories about the past or who she was had been lost totally.
But Banji could recognize her as Diana, because of the striking resemblance they both had. The complexion, the dimple, was part of Diana's features, so Banji mistook her to be Diana and she accepted the name.
Banji promised to help her regain his memory by sending her to her family at Lagos once she's fully recovered from the treatment.
“Thank you so much Uncle Banji…” Tomisin was still saying when Banji busted out in laughter and cut her in…
“Diana… You have never called me brother talk more of uncle since I know you…” Banji laughed so hard and Tomisin felt timid about her new self. “It's incredible. So incredible!” he added still laughing seriously.
“Guy, common...You can't blame her, the doctor said it already that she's suffering from Amnesia.” Udoh pointed out and Banji stopped laughing “You are just making her feel bad, do you think that will help her in regaining back her lost memory?”
“Of course not, it sounded awkward to me though, because the Diana I used to know is not respectful. I don't mean to make fun of her present condition.” Banji apologized and Udoh gave him a scornful look.
