Right after admiring Maya, the door opened and...

Boy: hey Maya, I'm fucking hungry. Get me something to. eat as soon as possible, and also Ivy said she wants a mini bucket of grilled chicken. Make sure you get it for her before the next five minutes, we'll be at the cafeteria so get your lousy ass moving!

The guy took his leave and the smile on Maya's face changed to a facade which got me confused.
I didn't understand why the guy spoke to her in such a rude manner so I asked her who the guy was and why he orded her like that.
She said he was Loyd, one of the richest students on campus and then she kept quiet.
"... and who is he to you?", I asked. She didn't want to answer me kept on insisting. She answered me after some time with a sad facial expression and I couldn't believe what I heard.
Damn it, Maya was his personal servant! It's no wonder he acted like that towards her."Im leaving, I I don't want you to end up in trouble. See you later", Maya said as she also took her leave. I felt bad for her though, I didn't understand what it felt like to be someone's personal assistant. Grandmother wouldn't be happy if I just sat down and did nothing about Maya's situation, but exactly what was there to do about it? I decided to help her out with her duties to reduce the stress on her at the very least.
"where would she be by now? Maybe the cafeteria", I said to myself and left for the cafeteria. I get there and couldn't believe what I saw with my onw two eyes.
I saw Maya being insulted by Loyd while his friends touched her in ways I couldn't call appropriate. I had to step in when one of them was trying to make a big move on her. Thus, depriving them of their so called pleasure.

Loyd: What in God's name do you think you are doing here? A servant is no different from a slave, it's all part of her duties as my personal servant. The only thing she's allowed to do is what I allow her to for the rest of her life.
To be there for me like a shadow. She has nothing of her own, she's nothing, less than nothing. She's got neither a dream to chase, nor has she accomplished anything in life...

As Loyd spoke, I could see tears form in Maya's eyes. She tried using a smile to mask her sorrow once again but failed once again.

Ivy: The mere sight of your good for nothing existence makes me wanna puke so kindly take your leave.

Maya couldn't hold back her tears anymore. She burst into tears and run but Ivy kicked Maya's leg which caused her to fall. Loyd's group laughed at Maya and gave credit to Ivy for entertaning them.
I helped Maya get up when I realized it was difficult for her as she had hurt her knee. I looked at Loyd with pure anger in my eyes and clenched my fist. Maya noticed this and held my hand as a way of telling me to calm down but I just couldn't bring myself to remain calm like Maya.
