Right after Maya and Valerie met, the air around became as tense as that of a war zone. Valerie glared at Maya with pure hatred, but Maya did nothing but look down.
Valarie :What in God's name is this witch doing here?!

Me: Valerie, your language!
Valerie :A bitch like her should have nothing doing here!...
{ I quickly covered Valarie's mouth with one hand and held her with the other as I looked directly into her eyes}
Me:Enough, Valerie! Look, just get yourself a room and stay there. The least I want is trouble on our first night here. Please!
{Valerie cooled down and went in with her stuff. Walker said he was tired so he went in with Irina and it was left with Maya and I}

Me: Listen, you're no longer a slave anymore. Your past does not define your future. You're a free person, you have your own free will so the least you could do is live your life like there's no tomorrow, kay?

Walker: I knew it, you two be sexing after all. Don't worry, I ain't no sellout so your secret is safe with me. Besides, I get you guys. It's been a tough day. Irina has already served dinner so let's get going.
Me: Aight. I'll meet you guys there.
I went to Valerie's room and knocked on her door but I got no response. I was about leaving when she opened the door and saw her with a sad look on her face.
Me: Heyy. I'm so sorry for shouting at you earlier.
Valerie :Dont worry about that.
I took a close look at her face and realized something was still troubling her.
Me: What's wrong, Valerie?
Valerie: Nothing. So what brings you here?
Me:Yeah, I came to call you for dinner. Come on, let's get going.
Valerie:It's okay. You can go on without me. I'm not hungry.
Me : Okay. I know this doesn't concern me but it seems you have some kind of beef with Maya. Care to tell me about what happened between you two?
Valerie: I'm sorry but it's between Maya and I.
Me: Okay then. I'll see you later.
I went to join the rest at the dining table. It was quite the interesting experience since Walker cracked a lot of jokes and we laughed uncontrollably. Only God knows the number of times I almost choked on my food. After dinner, we watched a movie together. Walker and Irina left for their room. I looked on my left only to see Maya fast asleep so I carried her to her room and later realized there was no other room left for me to sleep in.
"Well the living room is available", I said to myself. I went to the living room and spent my first night on the couch although I fell on the carpet more times than I could count.
The next morning, I felt droplets of water on my face and immediately woke up to see Valerie right in front of me with a smirk on her face.
Valerie : Don't tell me you spent the night on the floor.
Me: Well that's exactly what I did.
Valerie: And whay do that?
Me: There's was no available room for me to sleep in.
Valerie:Hmm, Go freshen up while I prepare breakfast.
I went to the the guest bathroom to shower a bit but for some reason, I couldn't find my luggage after bathing so I wrapped my towel around my waist and went to ask the others.
Maya said she didn't see my stuff and Valerie told me to check Walkers room. A look at her face and I could tell she wanted my towel to fall so I left for Walkers room and saw both Walker and Irina I. Flashy outfits.
Walker: Hey,... You don't just barge into someone else's room unannounced. Haven't you heard of the word, "Privacy"?
Me: Sorry.
Walker: What would you do if you saw Irina and I doing it?
Me: I guess I'd walk out.
Walker: But you'd still see Irina's precious stuff.
Me: I said I'm sorry.
Walker: Well sorry ain't no eraser. I'mma mafia you back.
Me: None of these would happened if I had a room.
Irina: Ah, I forgot to tell you about the rooms. Sorry about that. But what are you doing here? And why are you in that?
Me: I couldn't find my stuff so I came to check if they were mixed up with yours by mistake.
Walker checked around and pulled out my bags.
Walker: Are these yours?
Me:Yes they are.
Walker: Sorry bro, I thought they were for Irina.
Me:No problem,...but what's up with the flashy outfit?
Walker: Haven't you heard of the house party, get dressed and let's get going.
Irina: But please don't let Maya about it.
Me: Um... Aight?
