CHAPTER I

THE Y/N PARABLE

The reader-

Oh, I'm sorry, wrong name. I meant Y/N.

Well ANYWAYS..

They woke up and sat up, trying to piece together what had happened.

Did they fall asleep at their keyboard again?

But as they looked down, they realized that this wasn't their keyboard.

And this wasn't their room.

They heard the hum of a familiar voice- and then the humming abruptly stopped.

"What in the-  You're not Stanley!"

And the realization hit Y/N.

They were in The Stanley Parable.

Is this interesting yet, dear reader?

They stood from the chair and looked for a pencil and paper.

"Dear God, this isn't good, the Cur-"

Luckily, Y/N knew sign language.

If you don't know sign language, surprise surprise! You know sign language for this story. Happy now?

I better not hear any complaints in the comments for inaccuracy.

[Shut up.]

The Narrator went sign language.

NO I MEANT SILENT

FUCK

IGNORE THAT

The Narrator went SILENT.

Y/N felt more victorious.

But then the Narrator spoke once more, his voice low and indimitading.

Intmidating.

Intimedating-

. . .

Big scary.

"You're not the one in control here, Y/N."

The way he spoke immediately sent shivers down Y/N'S spine. They couldn't tell if they enjoyed the low, threatening tones of his voice or were terrified of them.

Without thinking, Y/N signed;

[Prove it.]

"Fine. Have it your way."

"Y/N stepped out of the office, finding themselves in the employee lounge."

And, almost as if piloted by someone else; a supernatural force, they stepped out of the office, winding up in the employee lounge.

And that's when the real panic set in.

With this, they realized that they had no control here.

But the next sentence made them hopeful.

"However, I'm not at ease just letting you roam around the map all willy nilly, Y/N. Perhaps the first thing we should do is try the escape pod."

Y/N nodded in response, ready to-

Ugh, excuse me for a moment, the dogs want out.

Sorry, where was I?

Ah, yes.

Y/N nodded, ready to get out of this wretched place.

The narrator gave them directions and they obeyed, eventually coming to a stop in front of an escape pod.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Go inside."

Y/N stepped into the escape pod and the door closed..

And then everything went black.

Woo-hoo! Finally got the motivation to finish the chapter!

Sorry that it's so short, I didn't have many ideas.

382 words, including this A/N!

Yes, the art belongs to me!
