"Have you got all your books?"

"Yep."

"Your pencil case."

"Yes."

"And your packed lu-"

"Mom, I already checked this morning." Clary reassured her and chuckled on in amusement,

"Don't worry so much."

"Trust me sweetheart," she walked around the kitchen counter and pressed a soft kiss on her youngest daughter's forehead. "I'll always worry."

"I'll be fine."

"It's not her fault," she heard Carlisle's voice come from behind as he walks over to his wife, wrapping his arm around her waist. "you know your mother just wants to you prepared."

"I know. But I'll be fine, I've got the others with me." She sends them a reassuring smile.

This was gonna be her first time that she would be participating high school as a vampire, along with the rest of her older siblings. Unlike the others who had years of experience, she couldn't lie and say that she wasn't nervous and she's positive that everyone else has noticed. Especially Jasper. She can't imagine how nervous he must feel being around all those humans. Plus she certainly didn't help him. But she's tried.

She guessed that they were just very anxious around new people.

"Just make sure to come home early if you feel pressured or uncomfortable," Carlisle walked over and sat across from his daughter.
