During Clary's final lesson of the day she walked into the English classroom and notice the same human girl from earlier with a depressed expression on her face. In reality she looked rather disappointed. Clary's eyebrows stitched together as Carlisle's words echoed in her mind.

'Just give it a try'

She made her decision and walked over to her table.

"Hi," she sent the girl a kind smile and resisted the urge to laugh at her surprised expression. "Is this seat taken?" She pointed to the empty chair next to her.

"No, go ahead," she slowly shakes her head.

"Thanks." She sent her a polite smile and sat in the chair after putting her bag away.

"So? Is this your first time, here?" She decided to make conversation first. She raised her brows when she noticed the girl's tense posture whilst glancing around the room nervously.

"Yeah, I guess you can say that." She answered.

"Mine too." Clary piped up trying to sound very enthusiastic, although she was very nervous.

"I'm Clary Cullen by the way." She introduced and sent her a smile hoping to at least make her feel comfortable.

"Bella. Bella Swan." She introduced

"Swan? As in the very same Chief swan?" Clary questioned suspiciously, remembering her dad mention the familiar name a few times.

"Yeah, that's my dad." She nodded
