"Hey." Ashley smiled standing in my door way with a smile on her face.

"Wasup Ashley, I wasn't expecting you when you get in?" I asked, finishing putting my laundry away.

"I just got here your dad let me in and I followed your voice which lead me in here."

"Oh."

"Yeah. I didn't know you sing." Ashley smiled walking further into the room

"Yeah, not many people do only my moms." I chuckled.

Ashley nodded "Your voice is so beautiful you shouldn't hide your talent."

"Ugh you sound like my moms." I smirked.

"Well that means it's true since more than one person is saying so."

"I don't know." I shrugged placing the clothes I just folded into my dresser

"Whats the name of song you were singing? I've never heard it."

"It's called emotions.."

"Emotions." she repeated "whose it by?"

"Me. I wrote it."

"Really? That's nice, can you sing some more?"

I chuckled shaking my head "I don't really like singing in front of people." I said walking toward her.

"Well good thing I'm not people I'm just a person." She smirked as I helped her up from my computer chair.

I couldn't help but smile as I wrapped my arms around her as we embraced. "Still on punishment?"

"What?" I laughed as she gave me a duh expression. "I wouldn't be here if I was."

"Oh, yeah true. How'd your dad react?"

She rolled her eyes pushing away the few strands of hair from her face. "Ugh daddy is so dramatic he fussed at me and then he felt bad later on came back and apologized and just had a conversation so we're on the same page.

"And what page is that?"

"I told him I'm not the little girl I use to be I'm 17 about to be 18 and we said some other things and listened to each other point of views but we're all good now.

"Oh alright, we'll that's good. Your dad doesn't seem like the type to let things go so easily."

"He doesn't, but I'm his baby girl and he always has a soft spot for me. But how about you what did your dad do?"
