"Tonight is gonna be fun." Tyren smiled staring at his reflection in the mirror.
"I hope not too much fun, you know what I told you boys."
"Don't make you a grandpa until there is grey hair in your head." Both Tyren and I quoted his famous don't make me a grandpa before time speech.
"And do yall see any grey hair on this head?" He asked, placing his head down for us to get a good view of his still black s-curled hair.
"I see on-"
"Tyren!" Pops called out in a warning tone.
"Ouch!" Pops shouted.
"Well there was one gray hair on your head, but here it is!" He chuckled holding up the nearly visible small piece of hair.
Rolling his eyes pops adverted his attention toward me. "How you feeling son? You've been unusually quiet you're not excited?"
"Oh yeah I'm excited, just a little nervous thats all." I shrugged.
"Pshh ain't no reason to be nervous bro tonight is gonna be one for the books. We gone show those none rhythmic people how it's done on that dance floor we gonna do it like Kid n play in house party we gonna have fun tonight." Tyren said, as he began random dance moves.
"Remember don't have to-
"Pops you keep sayin that ima make you a grandpa for real." Tyren warned.
Placing his hands up in surrender the doorbell rang. "I'm going to go get the door it's probably the girls."
"Yeah you go do that." Tyren spoke kissing his teeth. "That man working my nerves about this don't make a baby on prom night speech.
"Man, I know." I sighed.
I stared back at my reflection, I smiled at what I saw if I had to say so myself I did look good in the suit that I wore.
"We some good lookin brothas, I know I am." Tyren smiled at his reflection.
"I look better than you."
"You wish."
"I do look better it's a fact."
"You don't but whatever."
"Antwon! Come down stairs." Pops yelled.
"Ugh, what does he want now." I sighed, turning off my bedroom light as Tyren was hot on my trail.
"Dang nigga, back up he called my name not yours."
"Whatever I was coming downstairs anyways."
"At the same time he called my name?"
"That's just how it looks."
"Whatever." I chuckled
"Yeah pops you called? Ma?"
