Tech hadn't grabbed his torch before he heard a blood-curdling scream come from the cell. So startled by the sound, he kept the light pointed down, and peered into the darkness. A small figure appeared in his vision; it was curled up against the wall, looking right at him. He raised his torch; The Twi'lek.
"Greetings. Do not be alarmed. We are here to-" Tech paused as the girl let out a rather gurgly growl. Maybe it's not a good idea to tell her that they were taking her to another prison. "We're here to rescue you."
"Krayt spit." She seemed to say to herself.
"Come with me and you will not be harmed."
Aguilla looked past him, beyond the cell's door; she made out three other figures outside. "No chance, buddy. You should really look behind you, though."
Tech thought it was strange; but without hesitation, he turned around to see Hunter and Wrecker arguing with each other.
Suddenly Tech's neck bent backward at the most uncomfortable angle, and his helmet was slipped off. "ACK!" was the only sound he could make before his neck bent back so much, his throat closed.
"What the-" Hunter glimpsed Tech fall backward and be swallowed by darkness. No, no, no, no...
"Tech!" Wrecker gasped in a whisper.
"Hunter- come in," Crosshair came over the com, "We're going to have company."
Hunter spun to face Crosshair, "How long?" He grunted.
"I'll make sure they don't get past the lift door. You'd better hurry though."
Tech stepped away from Aguilla and held his throat, "GAH! UgH- You don't understand- we're trying to-"
His helmet was suddenly flying toward his face and BAM!
Tech hit the ground. Aguilla leaped onto him and held his arms down before he could reach for his blaster.
"Hunter-" Echo coughed up spit in his helmet, "She's not-" He coughed violently once more and hugged his stomach, "She is not friendly."
"I got that much. Wrecker, stay with Echo, and be ready to move out quick."
Hunter jumped into the cell and lifted his light and blaster.
"Hunter-" Tech choked as he wrestled with the pink twi'lek, "Your assistance is required!"
Aguilla shot a look at Hunter and twirled off of Tech to grab his helmet again. Tech raised his blasters just as Aguilla began batting him with his own helmet. Hunter jumped behind the twi' and grabbed her from under her arms. Aguilla's eyes grew wide and she went rabid.
"RAAHHHHHHHH!!!" Aguilla kicked Tech away, but now she was in Hunter's grasp.
"In a few minutes this place is going to be swarmed with guards and they'll kill us all! Is that what you want?!" Hunter tried to convince her to come peacefully.
"If it means you dying- then yes!" Aguilla angrily kicked and screamed, until she found a way out of his grip. She spun Hunter's arms up and leaped under him, to his back.
Aguilla wrapped her arms around Hunter's neck, and began choking him. Hunter backed up into the wall as hard as he could; He couldn't shake the little monster. He grabbed his blaster and put it to her face. She dropped instantly.
"Hunter, no! We need her unharmed!"
"I know!"
Thanks for the tip, Aguilla thought. She kicked the back of Hunter's legs, causing him to buckle. Hunter's blaster flashed in her eyes. She slammed Hunter's head into the floor, and tried to grab his blaster, but he threw it to Tech, who was trying to get Wrecker to come back inside.
"Wrecker- Hunter is being attacked. You must come in!"
"NO! I won't- you can't make me!"
"I can!" Echo shoved Wrecker inside, and remained outside, removing his helmet to spit. Aguilla landed a nasty kick on him.
"Ah-OH- Hunter!" Wrecker raised his blaster.
"NO! Wrecker- Unharmed!" Tech reiterated.
"I'll just stun her!"
"We can't risk hitting Hunter!"
Wrecker let out a cowardly groan and charged at Aguilla with a war cry.
Aguilla felt her stomach drop as she watched this tank charge toward her. She rolled away just in time. It made her dizzy; she was slipping. Aguilla could feel herself begin to tire; still, she fought with everything she had left.
She wiped her mouth and screeched as loud and as terrifying as she could. The Batch would have to admit, it was frightening enough to shake their hearts; not to mention the sharp little fangs that sparkled in the light of their torches.
Wrecker hit the wall, and stepped on Hunter's leg, "AGHHHHH! WRECKER- OFF!"
Tech now had a clear shot. He raised his blaster to stun her, but Aguilla saw it and launched herself onto Wrecker's blaster-bearing arms.
"AGH!" Wrecker dropped her and backed up. She pursued Wrecker around the room. Tech couldn't do anything but watch. Just as Aguilla pounced onto Wrecker again, a hand flew toward her face and caught her throat. The inertia from Aguilla's jump, and the motion of Hunter's hand to the wall, wedged her neck tightly into his grip. Her body slammed against the wall. The trooper-armored 'bounty hunter' in front of her squeezed her throat tightly, and for just a moment, Aguilla thought he was going to finish her here. She had lost most of her energy now, and her strength was depleted; her will to live, however, was still calling.
Aguilla closed her eyes and stopped wrestling Hunter. She went limp. Hunter held on for a few seconds longer.
"No games." He sneered.
Aguilla opened her eyes in anger that her acting didn't fool him. One last chance, all or nothing. She lifted her legs up over Hunter's arm and would've screamed if it wasn't for her lack of breath. Hunter's arm bent, bringing him just a few inches from her face. Hunter's grip began to weaken as Aguilla pressed his nerves in. She eyed him intently, waiting for just the moment when he couldn't hold on anymore....
Slip.
"You're dead."
