"don't go!" basil pleads, clinging to sunny's arm
sunny stares blankly back at his tear-filled eyes
he then gently removes basil's hands and begins to make his way out the door, choking sobs filling up the silence
sunny makes the journey to the store in order to get the cough medicine
basil has been sick for days
ever since... the incident...

*OMORI SPOILERS + TW: MURDER, SUICIDE*
"I CAN'T DO IT!"
"we just need to practice more- !!"
there is a crash
a body lays motionless on at the bottom of the stairs
"...Mari?"
dust jumps with every step down to the body
the body continues to lay still
shaking hands proceed to check the pulse
nothing... silence.
it is disturbed through the opening of a door
"hey sunny- oh my gosh! what happened?!"
guilty eyes stare back at the shocked face
emotions wash away
the body is carried to the backyard
rope makes its way around a branch and neck
hanging from the tree
two boys collapsed on the ground below
nothing but silent tears to feed the roots below
AUTHOR'S NOTE:
yes the incident it is super weird wording poetryish form - expect much more chaos in the future, but i'll try and stick to one writing style
the poetry style will most likely just be for "flashbacks" and such
