(Scene Reopens again to the plane at its cruising altitude)
Narrator: June the 23rd 2021, An Adventure City Air 737 Is flying at its cruising altitude of 24,000 feet without anyone at the the controls, But the auto pilot still remains On throughout the flight.
Narrator: In the Cabin the passengers Are unaware that their pilots have passed out in the cockpit. But they are also are getting ready for their Arrival into the airport.
(Scene Shifts to Ryder and the pups)
Ryder: Alright Pups, buckle up because we're about to land.
Pups: Yay!
(Scene Shifts to Adventure City Radar Control Center)
Narrator: On the Ground, 39-Year-old Adventure City Radar Controller Mark Stevens is the Arrival Controller for incoming flights into Adventure City.
(Interview) Mark S: It was a busy day for us at the Radar center. Flights were Passing through and landing every Minute So It was just a Casual Day for Us.
Narrator: Just after 10:48AM Mark Stevens then tries to make contact with Flight 656
Mark S: City Air 656 descend and maintain flight level 010
City Air 656: .........
(Interview) Mark S: When I tried to make contact with them I thought they probably couldn't hear me, so I tried again
Mark S: City Air 656 Decent and maintain Flight level 010.
Narrator: The aircraft then overshoots the waypoint where the pilots should have descended to 10,000 feet
Mark S: (Sigh) City Air 656 Turn right heading 185.
Narrator: At this point, He then calls over his supervisor.
Supervisor: What's up?
Mark S: I can't reach City air 656 at all.
Supervisor: Let me try
Narrator: The Supervisor then tries to make contact with the plane.
Supervisor: City Air 656 Adventure City Center, squawk 2648 or Tune into Frequency 129.88 if you can hear me.
City air flight 656..........
Narrator: Now With confirmation that something is wrong, he then calls an airbase about a couple of miles from the airport.
(Scene spilts into half dividing Supervisor and Air Base Controller
Phone: (Rings)
Air Base Controller: Adventure City Air Base.
Supervisor: Adventure City Air Base, This is Adventure City Radar Control. I'm trying to reach Adventure City Air Flight 656 But I can't seem to get any answer from them. Can you send someone over to investigate?
Air Base Controller: Alright We'll send two F-16s to intercept them.
Narrator: The supervisor then cuts the call.
Supervisor: Keep any aircraft away from them until we can figure out what's going on.
Mark S: Got it.
Narrator: He Then Gets an idea, He asks A Southwest 737 in the area to try to contact Flight 656
Mark S: Southwest 1552, I'm having trouble reaching City Air 656 They haven't responded to us yet. Can you try to make Radio contact with them?
Southwest 1552: We'll Try making contact, Southwest 1552
Narrator: The Southwest Captain then tries to make contact with the flight.
