Ch2: Surfer

The sun was beating down on the sandy shore of the beach, and the waves crashed onto the sand as Kagami Taiga emerged from the sea with his surfboard in hand. He walked up to the shore, a satisfied grin on his face, and set down his board.

As he turned around, he was met with the surprised faces of the Seirin basketball team, who had followed him to the beach after practice. They had no idea that Kagami could surf.

"T-Taiga, you can surf?" Kuroko asked, his eyes wide with shock.

Kagami chuckled. "Yeah, it's one of my hobbies. I used to do it all the time back in America."

The rest of the team stood there in stunned silence, their mouths agape. They had never seen Kagami do anything remotely close to surfing.

Akashi was the first to snap out of his shock. "Kagami, show us what you've got!"

Kagami grinned, grabbed his surfboard, and headed back into the water. The Seirin team gathered around the shore, watching in amazement as Kagami effortlessly rode the waves.

"Midorima, look at his balance!" Takao exclaimed.

Midorima nodded in agreement. "It's remarkable. He has perfect control over his body."

Kise, who had always prided himself on being the most athletic of the group, was in awe. "I can't believe it. Kagami-kun can surf better than me!"

Murasakibara, who had been snacking on chips, was even impressed. "He's good."

As Kagami rode wave after wave, the Seirin team cheered him on, impressed with his skills. When he finally came back to shore, they surrounded him, eager to ask him more about his surfing.

"That was incredible, Taiga!" Hyuga exclaimed.

Kagami laughed. "Thanks, guys. I've been doing it since I was a kid, so I've had a lot of practice."

Aomine, who had always been a bit envious of Kagami's basketball skills, was impressed with his surfing abilities. "Kagami, you never cease to amaze me."

Kagami grinned. "Thanks, man. Maybe one day I'll take you out on the waves with me."

The Seirin team looked at each other in amazement. They had never seen Kagami so relaxed and carefree before. It was as if surfing was his escape from the stresses of basketball and life in general.

As they walked back to their cars, still in awe of Kagami's surfing skills, they couldn't help but feel grateful to have him as a teammate and friend. They had always known he was talented, but they never could have guessed that he was also a skilled surfer.

From that day forward, whenever they saw the waves crashing on the shore, they would think of Kagami and his incredible surfing skills, reminding them that their teammate was more than just a basketball player. He was a surfer too.
