Ch10: Driver's Licence

It was another hot summer day in Tokyo and the Seirin basketball team had just finished a gruelling practice session. They were all exhausted and ready to head home to rest, but Kagami had other plans.

"Hey guys, I'm thinking of heading out for a drive. Anyone wanna come with me?" Kagami asked as he pulled out his keys.

The rest of the team looked at him in confusion. "A drive? You have a car?" Kuroko asked, surprised.

"Yeah, I got my driver's licence a few months ago. I thought it would be fun to take a spin around town," Kagami replied, shrugging.

The rest of the team stared at him in disbelief. Kagami, the hot-headed and reckless player who was always causing trouble, had a driver's licence? It seemed too good to be true.

"Are you serious?" Riko asked, unable to hide her shock.

"Yep, I'm serious," Kagami replied with a grin. "So, who's in?"

The rest of the team exchanged glances before nodding in agreement. They were all curious to see what Kagami's driving skills were like.

As they piled into Kagami's car, they couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. Kagami was known for his fiery temper and reckless behavior on the court, so they couldn't even begin to imagine what he would be like behind the wheel.

To their surprise, Kagami turned out to be a pretty good driver. He followed all the traffic rules and drove with caution, even when he was itching to speed up.

As they drove around the city, they passed by a red light and suddenly, the sound of police sirens blared in the distance.

"Oh crap, the cops!" Kagami exclaimed, looking panicked.

The rest of the team began to panic too, wondering what they had done wrong. However, to their surprise, the police car simply passed by them and Kagami let out a sigh of relief.

"Phew, that was close," Kagami said, wiping his forehead. "I don't think I've ever been so scared in my life."

The rest of the team chuckled at his reaction, finding it amusing to see Kagami, the fearless basketball player, scared of getting pulled over by the police.

As they continued to drive around, the conversation shifted to Kagami's driving skills. The rest of the team was surprised to learn that Kagami had taken driving lessons in the US and had even driven across the country with his family during one summer vacation.

They couldn't help but be impressed by his abilities, even if they didn't want to admit it out loud.

"Kagami, you're full of surprises," Hyuga commented, chuckling.

The rest of the team nodded in agreement, still in disbelief that Kagami had managed to keep this hidden from them for so long.

As they returned to the gym, the team felt a newfound sense of respect for Kagami. They had always known he was a talented basketball player, but now they realised he was much more than that. He was a skilled driver, a talented chef, and even had a few hidden talents up his sleeve.

Little did they know, there were even more surprises in store for them. As they walked into the gym, they saw the Generation of Miracles standing there, their eyes wide in shock.

"Kagami, you have a driver's licence?" Aomine asked, his mouth hanging open.

The rest of the Generation of Miracles stared at Kagami in disbelief, unable to comprehend how he had managed to keep this hidden from them for so long.

Kagami simply shrugged, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. "I guess I just never had a reason
