The Promise [Lawlu/Zolu]

Chapter 13 - forgive

--Hours later--

After law and zoro recovered they got out the hospital with their dads that were waiting for them and got home, law and zoro were sure they would die by being murdered by luffy's brothers, they cant be mad a them for almost killing them. law and zoro thought they would've deserved it and accepted their fate, but luffy saved them, he just stopped ace and sabo from cutting most of their limbs and told them to get out.

Law and zoro took a glance at each other before they went their separate ways. the stitches still hurt like hell. When law got home he was questioned by corazon of what happened to him, law refused to answer and said that he'll tell him later and that he needs rest, he decided to try to apologize to luffy when they go back to taking classes. When zoro entered the house with mihawk, perona was at the living room waiting for them. she saw zoro and started to hug him she was worried that she lost her brother when mihawk got the call from the hospital. she was crying, when she saw his stitches she got a bit more worried but didn't want to annoy zoro by asking for now. perona and mikawk helped zoro get into his room and told him to let them know if he needs anything, zoro nodded and they left the room. zoro thought about what happened hours ago.

That devilish look on ace and sabos face. the look on luffys face, he looked sad, tired and scared, zoro wants to apologize when he sees him again. meanwhile law thought the same thing.

Almost a week had passed by, law, zoro and luffy haven't been attending classes and their friends were getting worried, they would text them to ask if they could hang out but they would refuse, it feels unnatural even for luffy, he would always agree to hang out with his friends. something is wrong.

When nami and the others visited zoro, they saw stitch marks on his ankle area of his legs, when they asked what happened, he said that he'll explain later and reassured them that he'll come back. When they visit luffy, ace and sabo told them that luffy would talk to them and will come back to class soon too. 

Shachi and and the others visited law too, law refused to tell them what happened to his arm and said he'll explain it to them soon, they all nodded and left. but they were still worried for their best friend.

Ace and sabo took care of luffy and feed him like they would always do, despite what happened to him, luffy still smiled like nothing happened to him even though they knew.

Luffy texted koby and canceled their date they planned, koby didn't argue even though he felt sad, maybe next time? 

Luffy sat on his bed and thought about their promise, he really broke their promise without realizing it, he already forgaved them but he might try to avoid them. 

Days later luffy, law and zoro started going back to classes, their friends are relived but something is wrong. it feels strange. luffy seemed to be avoiding law and zoro, did they fight or something? 

Zoro and law would try to walk up to luffy to apologize but he would quickly make an excuse or just walk away, if they followed him he would run and get away, they cant get mad at him for it they did do something bad to him, maybe he needs time away from them to recover.
