During the rollercoaster ride, my mind fills up with more thoughts of Cody. But it's not 'oh he's gonna let go', it's more me analysing the comfort of him holding my hand. What do I mean, I hear you ask?
Well, it's like finding your comfort place. The one place you feel safe. Same feeling but it's a person. A person who I call my best friend...
"Liz, should we crash at a hotel for tonight?" Cody asks me. I look at him confused. "Why?"
"Because there's a beach near by and I want to go", he says. I nod. "Sure, we can go look for one now", I say. I grab my car keys out my bag and lead the way.We both drive around for a while. "Try your next left", Cody says. I indicate and turn left. There's a hotel here!
I park the car and leave the car with Cody following closely. "They're open", Cody says. I nod and follow him in the reception.
"Good afternoon, how may I help?" The receptionist says. Cody smiles. "Do you have a spare room with two beds for tonight?" The lady goes on her computer and types away. A frown appears on her face.
"Yes we have a spare room for you, would you like to book it?" She asks. Cody nods and gets his wallet out. "Cody, I'll pay since you paid the rides and candyfloss", I tell him. He nods. I tap my card on her machine.
"Follow me", she says leading us to our room.
