Chapter 5 - Second unofficial sleepover

It was now Monday.
Rain waited nervously as she didn't know what Ash had planned for her.
They were supposed to meet at the park but Ash is late.. Rain was looking at the stores when Ash crept up on Rain and scared her. Rain jumped and looked back quickly. She calmed down seeing it was Ash.

A: Boo! Ash was dying of laughter
R: You scared me half to death! Rain was crying
A: You ready for my surprise?
R: Yes! said Rain as tears rushed out of her eyes
A: Let's go to the park and I'll show you. Ash was smiling.

They got to the park. There, they went to a more secluded area. Ash set up the picnic, and as she went to open the basket, a cat jumped out. Rain was surprised, and the cat jumped into Rain's arms.
R: Is this the surprise? Rain asked, smiling

A: Yes, I hope you like her!
And so they went on with their date.
The sun was setting. Ash went close and closer to Rain. She cupped Rain's cheeks and slowly kissed her. Rain was surprised but kissed back. After a few moments
Ash was the one to break the kiss.
Ash was grining.

A: You liked that?
Rain was a flustered mess. Her face redder than a tomato.
R: I-I
Ash giggled as she tucked Rains hair behind her ear.
A: What do you wanna do now, baby?
R: C-could we c-cuddle?
A: Sure, let's go to my place?
R: Alright!

[They go to Ashes' place]

A: This is my house! Ash said, smiling.
R: It's really pretty, and it smells amazing! Says Rain while taking a deep breath in.
A: Come on, let's go to my bedroom!
Rain follows Ash to her bedroom.
In the bedroom, there were lots of plants and a cat on her bed.
R: You never told me you had a cat! Rain runs over to pet the cat.

Ash giggles.
A: We can cuddle with the cat, too!
Rain and Ash got in the bed, and they started cuddling.
Rain started to feel sleepy. As she fell asleep, Ash placed a kiss on her cheek, and Rain fell asleep with a smile on her face.

And just like that, Rain drifted off to sleep. Ash looked at the time and set a timer for 7 a.m. And with a smile on her face, she too drifted off to sleep.

[The next day]
Ash woke up to the sound of the alarm. She carefully got up so as not to disturb Rain. She got up, and she went to the kitchen to make breakfast for the two of them. As she was cooking, her cat came downstairs and meowned, signaling it was very hungry.

She set down what she was working on and put cat food in the cats bowl. She set the bowl, and in a flash, the cat started to eat. She must've been starving.
