The next day
Crystal's POV
Shadow and I met at the forest the next day to practice controlling my powers.
"We're going to start with your weakest power/strength , then work up to the strongest power/strength," he said. I nodded to show him that I was listening.
"So, what is your weakest power?" He asked. "Well, I don't know, I only have a few powers, which are singing, teleportation, shapeshifting, flight, levitation, and invisibility."
"Hmm," he thought for a second, "How about teleportation?" I nod.
"So the only thing you want to do is to imagine where you want to go."
I try to teleport next to Shadow and there I was!
"Alright, how about we work on flight? But the thing is that I don't fly that much, I just skate. So maybe you should ask Tail or something like that?" "It's Tails." "Whatever."
[Time Skip bc I'm lazy 😝]
I arrive at Tails' workshop and knock on the door. Tails answered the door with a bit of a shocked face.
"O-oh! Crystal!" "It's alright, Tails, I won't hurt you. Anyways, since I know you can fly with your 2 tails, I was wondering if you could teach me how to control my flight?" "Of course, Crystal! Follow me outside!"
I follow Tails outside and we both fly in the air. "So, the thing is that the direction you want to go to, you have to lean towards that direction. If you want to accelerate, you can think of a way to speed you up. I just spin my tails faster."
"Hmm, how 'bout this?" I fly down to the ground and barely touching it before zooming back up, then doing a backflip. "That was very impressive, Crystal!" "Thanks, Tails!" "You're welcome!"
By the time I return to my hut, I see Shadow sleeping peacefully on the couch. I give him a sympathetic look before walking over to him and starting to caress his quills.
His eyes opened a bit and smirked. He suddenly started purring, which surprised me because he's more of the edgy type, but he has a big heart. I then fell asleep, too.
