Glimmers pov
I'm looking into bows eyes, letting the dark brown warm my heart, until suddenly I see a shadowy figure come out from behind him.
"BOW!" I yell, but it's too late, he's been knocked out. Before I have enough time to process what's happening he's being dragged away.
I throw a blast of magic onto the.. thing?creature? Being? To be honest I don't know what it is but it just hurt Bow, so alive or not that thing is gonna go.
I successfully knock it back, it's hurt but it still has bow. I teleport over and slam a strong attack in mid air, and then teleport away before I land and crash on to and into Bow.
Just before I hit it again I stop myself , magic still pulsing around my fist. It's started to use bow as a human shield. I hold my fire for a while being more strategic on where I plan to hit, as to not hurt bow.
I'm so focused on keeping bow safe that I don't even think about how much magic (that is probably half used up already due to me teleporting around the woods) I'm using up and inevitably wasting for every second I hold my charge.
I finally teleport behind the creature and hit it. Not realizing just how little magic I have left, I enter a rapid fire of heavy attacks, knocking the creature to the ground. I go to punch it, but my fist glides right through, 'illusions' i think. As my adrenaline rush ends, the exhaustion of my now empty charge sets in. As I collapse to the ground the horrifying reality hits me like a truck
My magic is all used up.
Bow is captured.
And I just fell right into a trap.
