Mallet Island

A/n: hello there people, if you haven't now's the time to vote for the second weapon that you shall aquire.

Dante and Y/n are on a boat. Said boat was fastly approaching their destination, Mallet Island the place where they were hired. Now usually the Devil hunters of Devil May Cry are perceived as cool, stylish, or badass but right now they were far from it. Y/n was leaning over the edge of the boat having recently spewing the contents of his stomach over it. Dante was behind him patting his back.

"Hey we're almost there just a bit further!" Shouts the captain of the vessel. The man wanted nothing to to with Mallet Island but having two Devil hunters on board was enough to persuade the man. Barely. Though the reason why Y/n was hanging over the edge was simply, motion sickness the thing that illed him for the longest time it was always controllable by a simple pill. But as Y/n's powers developed more the medicine became less and less effective. The breakfast burrito he ate was long sense gone in the sea.

Trish, the one who hired the duo sat back on a bench calmly looking over the horizon as the first docked. Y/n was the first one off running full speed onto the dock.

"Oh sweet land!" He shouts as he leaves the boat. Following him was Trish and Dante. Trish and Dante were talking, Y/n was emptying the last of his stomach in the bushes, as he finished he felt a familiar energy it called out to him like a faint voice. Y/n looks back seeing Trish talking to Dante before Y/n ultimately decided to follow the energy. What Y/n didn't know was that soon after he left Trish took off.

"Welp looks like it's just you and me Y/n.......... Y/n?" Dante looks around but didn't see his partner anywhere. "Drats, welp it's almost like Temen-ni-gru all over again." Dante says as he walks off.

Y/n was making his own way up the cliff side, as he was he soon came across a city that was abandoned. The city led to the castle so Y/n started walking through it. As he made his way through Y/n was looking through the windows of shops because he did promise Nero a souvenir. It was at one such shop the Nephalem was looking in when he felt the familiar tingle at the base of his neck when he flipped over an attack. As he landed Y/n saw that the demon who attacked him was barely a demon at all, it was more like a puppet brought to life by by demonic power. Said puppet was a strange mix of demon parts.

"Sweet Mother Teresa on the hood of Mercedes Benz, you are ugly!" Y/n commented as he inspected the demon. "less a demon and more of a clump of leftovers."

The puppet didn't even respond, it simply turned towards the hunter and swung again. This time Y/n blocked the attack using Royalguard then sent the force of the attack right back into the demon sending it flying out to the streets as it hit the wall and started to dissolve. Y/n hopped out of the newly formed hole in the wall, as he did he saw several more puppet demons pulled themselves seemingly from the shadows.

"Oh gods their multiplying!" Y/n shouted as he unsheathed Renegade. "Darkslayer!" Y/n dashed through the crowd dealing quick slashes to the demons as he ran through them.  When he made it though the crowd he sheathed Renegade quickly causing dozens more slashes to appear over the demons as he unholstered Helios and Selene. As Y/n brought out his trusty guns he jumped and turned in the air so he was facing down. Then he spun, as he spun he unloaded the twin revolvers into the crowded demons, plowing down any demon that wasn't taken down by the sword.

When Y/n was finished he landed in a crouch, he blew out the smoke as he spun the hand guns before holstering them.

"Alright well that was a nice stretch," Y/n started as he walked towards the castle. "But I guess you'll be more of a warm up!" Y/n said as he quickly threw a summon sword, the astral blade flew through the air as it hit the face of what appeared to be a giant magma spider and exploded.

"AAHHH!" It shouted from the pain. "You pest! You dare stand against the great Phantom!!"

"Well you snuck up on me, so you should have expected something." Y/n responded as he looks up as a building, seeing Phantom.

"A weakling like you had no place on this island! So DIIIEE!!!!" Phantom shouts as he lunges at Y/n. Y/n jumps to avoid the attack, then uses air hike to flip back to gain distance. "I will devour you worthless insect!!"

"Oh yeah, well  if I'm an insect then I'm a bullet ant because I'm fast, strong, and pack one hell of a punch!!" Y/n shouts as he jumps up before throwing himself down, slamming both Agni and Ruda down on Phantom's head. "well kick in this case!" Y/n started slashing at Phantom's back/abdomen using summon swords to follow his blade dealing even more damage. Phantom was getting hurt and he didn't like that, so he was preparing to strike. So right after Y/n struck once more Phantom changed his back into his tail and smacked Y/n sending him flying. As he was thrown Y/n willed the summoned swords to fly forward each one pinning into the demons tail and exploding. Phantom yelled in pain as he slammed his tail down causing causing pillers of fire to erupt.

Y/n's eyes widen as he rolls out of the way of the first before jumping out of the second. But he wasn't able to get out of the way of the third.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!"

"HAHAHAHAAHA NOW PERISH YOU WORM!" Phantom laughed out in victory. Suddenly the flames changed color as Y/n's shout changed.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!" the piller of fire burst apart as Y/n flew out of it in a spiral. When he was above Phantom the Nephalem blew out his wings showing the slight burns that were quickly healing, and he was in Devil Trigger.

"Few ahahaha that was a close one. I guess I should take this a bit more serious." Y/n said as he summoned D/S and in a spiraling stinger, a vortex of blades. "Quicksilver!"

"WHAT HOW-" Phantom never got the chance to finish as time froze as Y/n proceeded to drill into Phantom's back. Y/n finished as he jumped back exiting Devil Trigger and as he landed time resumed. "GAAAAHHH H-HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? I COULDN'T LOSE TO A BEING LIKE YOU!!!"

"Well I guess you just did." Y/n said. "Now to finish this!" Y/n rushed at Phantom, but the spider summoned a massive column of fire and as it disappeared so did he. "Tch the nerve of that guy talking about me being the weakling. Anyhow I should get moving Dante's probably wondering where I am, and I gotta find out what that energy is."

Y/n took off towards the castle little did he know what was waiting for him, or rather who....

It was a dark place, eerily quite. The silence was broken by a deep voice, the voice held power but also an intense amount of evil.

"It is time to rise my servant, I have a pest for you to exterminate!" The deep disembodied voice said. As he spoke glowing red eyes lit up. "Now go, Nelo Angela! Ahahahahahaha!"
