They got inside the hotel; they looked around, admiring the beautiful interior.

"Alright, you go wait over there and I'll get us checked in." Ian told Anthony.

Anthony smiled and placed a kiss on Ian's cheek. He made his way over to the little sitting area and sat down in one of the comfy chairs; he brought out his phone. He was looking through twitter and came across the photo of him and Ian, he smiled.

His eyes glanced up to see Ian at the reception, talking to a woman. Anthony noticed the bag that was sat on the desk and Ian motioning it whilst he talked.

"Wonder what that is?" Anthony thought to himself. He saw the woman smile and nod, and Ian return a smile.

A minute later Ian was walking over to him; Anthony put his phone away and pushed himself up from the seat.

"Alright, it's all sorted." Ian said.

Anthony picked up his bag, "Great," he responded.

They made their way up in the elevator. Once at their floor they stepped out, making their way along the corridor, checking for their room number. They reached their room and Ian unlocked the door. They walked in; the room was just standard and nothing too fancy. They sat their bags down.

"Sorry it's nothing too fancy." Ian said.

Anthony walked over and took his hands, "No Ian, this is great. I know how expensive this place is. I'm not bothered by what the room is like, I'm here with you and that's what matters." Ian smiled at him and Anthony pulled him in for a deep kiss.

They pulled away, "Ready for lunch?" Ian asked with a smile.

Anthony's face lit up, "Hell yeah! I heard the food here is meant to be really good."

They walked out of the room; hand in hand all the way down to the restaurant. The waitress asked if they had a reservation and Ian told her the name. She showed them to their table and they sat down; she handed them menus. They ordered some drinks and the waitress left them.

Anthony looked up from his menu to Ian, who was reading his. He reached his hand across taking Ian's hand, lightly rubbing it. Ian looked up.

"This is really nice Ian, I'm having a great anniversary so far."

"Me too. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I'f you're happy, I'm happy." They both smiled at each other.

They went back to reading their menus. A few minutes later the waitress came over with their drinks and asked if they were ready to order. Ian looked at Anthony and gave a small nod, Anthony responded by giving his order; Ian ordered after him.

They sat talking and laughing about old memories.

"That was such a bad idea." Ian laughed putting his head in his hand, remembering the stupid things they'd did as teenagers.

Anthony laughed, "We still got away with it though."

They got onto the topic of their relationship over the past six months.

"I don't get how we didn't realise sooner," Anthony said.

"Because we're idiots." Ian added.

"Yeah, I mean everyone seemed to notice it but us."

Ian reached his hand over, taking Anthony's."Well I'm glad we finally saw sense," he smiled.

Anthony smiled back, "Me too."

The food arrived. They asked the waitress to take a photo of them; she stood back from the table, holding the phone landscape and snapped a photo. She handed the phone back and they thanked her. They began eating.
