Third and fourth period weren't too bad. I had Calum in my one of my elective classes and he was in my government class, which didn't seem so bad.
"Hey man wanna sit with me at lunch?" Calum asked as we were walking towards the cafeteria.
"Sure. I just gotta let Claire know about it." Calum stopped walking and I looked back to see him frozen with his jaw was dropped,"Claire? As in Claire Waters?"
"Um well I don't know her last name but I think that's her. Why?" He shook his head in disappointment. "Man Claire is the most popular girl in school. She's an honors student and well she's pretty hot."
"Who's hot?", Calum turned around and Claire was standing right behind him.
"Uhhhh Megan Fox..?" he answered in a questionable tone. And suddenly Claire was pulled by some blonde girl. "C'mon Claire lets go off campus for lunch today." She looked at me and told the blonde girl no. "Why not? The food sucks here."
She then pointed to me, "Thats true, but I invited my new friend Michael to sit with us." The girl seemed to be confused and gave me a harsh look. "Hi Michael I guess today you're sitting with us?"
"I suppose. Claire invited me, but its okay if I can't. I was going to sit with Calum if anything.", the girl wasn't even paying attention to me. She was looking to my right. Gawking at Calum. He didn't even notice at all.
"No it's fine Michael, I invited you. Lets go. Calum can come to right Michelle?" Her friend Michelle was still lost by Calum so she elbowed her. "Oh y-yeah you two can eat with us." Michelle hooked her arm with Claire's and began walking to the cafeteria.
"Dude do you think she heard me?" Calum asked as we followed them inside."You know about her being hot?" I laughed and shrugged my shoulders. "Maybe."
There was a table full of the typical kids who you would think we're popular. Some jocks, a couple preppy kids, and I believe there were even a few cheerleaders.
Claire introduced us to the crowd "Hey guys this is Michael. He's new here and this is Calum." They all said their hellos to us, though they didn't sound to enthusiastic to see us. Then suddenly a few questions started being asked...all at once.
"Why is your hair blue?"
"What's up with that eyebrow piercing?"
"Why are you in all black?"
"You have tattoos?"
And the one I was waiting for to be asked, "Hey weren't you that one guy who fell in Mrs. Herbert's class?" I felt the embarrassment rush over me. "Yeah..that was me." I said underneath my breathe.
"And I was the one who tripped the blue freak." A voice said from behind. "What are you even doing at this table? Shouldn't you and your Asian friend being watching anime or something?" It was Luke. He was now facing me with his arm around Claire. Please don't tell me she's with him. Please.
"Luke stop being rude. I invited Michael and his friend Calum to eat lunch with us. They can be here.", she defended the two of us.
"Well I don't think it's okay. This blue weird smurf guy and his boyfriend gotta go." I swear...he did not just say that about me while I'm literally two feet away from him.
"Hey Luke chill out dude. We'll just go okay. You don't have to be a dick about this." the table went quiet.
"What the fuck did you just call me?" Luke took a step closer to Calum with his fists to his sides. Shit. This can't be happening on the first day.
"Hey dude. We're gonna go. We don't want any trouble. None of this will happen again." Luke took his eyes off Calum and looked at me with piercing blue eyes. "Better not happen again smurf or else you and your boyfriend are gonna regret it. Oh and stay away from Claire. I don't want my girl being friends with some emo kid." Ouch. Okay that hurt just a little. But I since I'm used to this crap, I ignored it and pulled Calum away from Luke.

The last period of the day was coming to an end and my stomach was practically eating itself. I was so hungry since I didn't get to eat lunch today. My stomach growled really loud causing me to use my hand to clutch it to try and stop the noise.
"Dude was that your stomach?", Calum asked while our math teacher was finishing up his lecture on what the requirements were for his class.
"Yeah I'm starving. Shit I can't wait to get home."

I ate a sandwich, a bowl of cereal, and some left over pizza. I don't know how I did it but I was just so hungry. After eating all of that I headed to my bedroom and went to lay down. I was just about to close my eyes to take a nap when my phone went off.
"Hey mom."
"Hi Michael I just called to say that I won't be home till midnight most likely. It's busy here at the hospital. Well I'll try to see you in the morning before school. Hope your first day went well. I love you bye." and the line went dead. I covered my eyes and sighed. If only she knew what happened all in one day. Eating shit in the wrong class cause Luke tripped me. Meeting Calum and Claire. Luke being a real dick to Calum and I. Though I didn't care bout Luke being a jerk to me. It was just how he talked to Claire and how he said he didn't want her to be friends with an "emo" kid like me. I believe Claire should be able to be friends with whoever she wants and she shouldn't be talked to that way. She doesn't deserve that. No girl does.
I was getting upset with it all. Him treating that way in front of everyone and making fun of my hair. Ugh my hair. It's been blue for a while now. Well not really but I feel like it has. Maybe it's time for a change. Maybe if I change it Claire and I could be friends. I wouldn't be just some emo kid to her or anyone. Maybe I wouldn't get shit from Luke either. I headed towards my bathroom and found my box full of bottles and bottles of hair dye and began my magic.
Well this was a shitty update but hopefully i write a better one next time :) sorry if this is poorly written.
