Bitterness, the unholy and unpleasant feeling of resentment towards someone who has done nothing or something to intervene.
A large number of students were gathered in the hall, two figures stood in the middle of the hall surrounded by crowds of students, one of the figures had a pair of mighty antlers on their head.
The other's green serpentine-like eyes shone brightly,
"Stand. down. Taiwan."
"Like I would, Big brother."
Both kept on with their growling and staring, the one with antlers dug their feet into the ground as the other's green eyes began glowing with resonance.
"Taiwan, China. That's enough!" Someone stepped through the crowd, their lizard like tail flailed.
"STAY OUT OF THIS!" Both of the fighting pair shouted before they were wrapped in a dangerous red sheen.
Footsteps ranged out, approaching the two was a tall silhouette.
"Enough is enough." Red eyes glowed with hostility, as the figure revealed themselves—
"Thailand!" The one that had intervened perked up,
"Hello, Singapore. . . Mind explaining what happened. .. here?" The figure, Thailand said with a booming voice, eyeing the crowd around them.
The mentioned nation nodded, giving a sad glance to the two fighting siblings.
"Taiwan and a China were fighting over who gets to compete in the joint competition." Singapore nervously replied, feeling the older's aura lurk around the room as the crowd slowly disappeared.
The Thai frowned, "It is a second time this week and we're not even in 2 weeks yet and you already have begun to cause trouble,"
"This is your last chance China, Taiwan. If you start another fight, you will be speaking to Mr.ASEAN and his Council."
China sweated as he heard the other's stern words, an aura of terror in the Thai's voice sent chills down both he and his sister's spines as they nodded quickly.
"Very well then. Oh, and, Singapore?"
"Hm?" The said man hummed,
"Council meeting at nine, be there by eight thirty. ASEAN has said it is important." The taller called out as he began to turn away.
"Let's go, Laos, Cambodia." Two figures now stood at each side of the thai man. One wore a short robe that was decorated with small gold chains on his hands and the other were a long sleeve cloak and adorned sapphire earrings on their ears. They both held a golden dagger.
Thailand led the way as the other two followed him, seemingly unfazed by the taller's deathly aura.
"Are you alright China?" Singapore now made the effort to move,
"I am fine, it's just I forgot how scary Thailand can be."
"You are dumb Big brother." Taiwan blurted out.
China's face became red.
America felt. . Off, but he shrugged it off, heaving himself away from the classroom table as the bell- or rather, gong rang.
On his way out he walked past another student with a scorpion tail hanging limping by their back.
In a large meeting room, 3 people sat quietly.
Until the door creaked opened,
"So you finally decided to show up, Indo." A man adorning the flag of Malaysia crossed his arms and a tiger-striped tail dropped limply into his lap.
"As if I would defy ASEAN's request." Indo scoffed.
"Just sit down." The second person who was sitting patiently ordered the flag of Brunei,
They waved the pair off and leaned back into their chair as Indo took the sit with his name plastered on it.
"Thailand and the others are coming, behave in this meeting because it is a very important matter." Singapore added.
As soon as the man that was excessively decorated in mesh chains spoke, the door opened to reveal 3 figures.
"We're here." One of them said.
"Now that we have everyone here, the meeting shall commence. But a few warnings and notes first." The high power, known as ASEAN spoke in an authoritative manner his true form was revealed— his wings had now curved themselves upwards and into a crescent. His golden laced strings floated at his fingertips and his eyes gleamed a dangerous hollow crimson.
"Everything that is said and done in this room will remain in this room. That's means no secrets will be kept from the rest and no secrets will ever be going out of this room and into the public student body." His voice made the others- except for Thailand shiver slightly.
"This meeting is going to discuss a very important and dangerous matter that the other Heads have already discussed with each other. And,
UNESCO will be joining us in this meeting to discuss it in it's fullest detail." ASEAN's powers had now created a holographic screen into the view.
"The reason for this meeting is simple, it is to prevent further danger from what UNESCO's research team has unfortunately discovered."
"Now,"
"Shall we begin?"
No one objected as ASEAN looked around the room. Thailand was sitting next to Laos and Cambodia, Philippines was sitting between Indonesia and Malaysia whilst Brunei , Singapore and Myanmar took a seat closest to the Power and Head of Informational Department.
"Alright. UNESCO would you mind explaining what exactly you have discovered?" The said organization's face was now visible on the holographic screen.
"We unfortunately discovered, a life-stealing plant in the depths of the caverns below the ancient city of Drera." Singapore's face was morphed into shock,
Thailand's into curiosity, Brunei's worried glint in their eyes and the other member's terrified and shock-ridden faces.
"Explain further please, details are appreciated." Thailand's voice calmly asked the organization through the screen.
"You see, we discovered a unique cell inside the plant that gives it a crimson coloration and the ability to suck the life or energy force of a creature in a close proximity to the roots."
"After it consumes the life of that creature, like a fungus it appears to have the ability to control the body of the creature." Everyone gagged mentally.
"We have given this plant the name- 'Garden of Eternity'" the organization finished.
"Thank you UNESCO." ASEAN finally said.
"As you can see holding this meeting is vital, we must find information and protection regarding this unknown plant. So,
I am putting Thailand and Malaysia in charge of the academy's protection from inside,
Brunei and Myanmar will handle dormitory issues and protection,
Singapore , Indonesia , Laos will be in charge of finding information of this plant in the old archives.
Cambodia and Philippines will be our ears in secluded corners of the academy. So please report any suspicious activity near any of your stations, and for this particular reason I will be excusing you from your classes for the time being."
ASEAN's booming voice announced as the other countries nodded, Laos particularly raising his beloved golden dagger excitedly.
"Meeting dismissed. Have a good night and be careful out there, you and your team of researchers too UNESCO."
"Of course," then the hologram flashed away.
