One morning, Lisa left a supermarket carrying a bag of groceries. She walked slowly to the house until she tripped over on the ground and the items from her bag fell out. A girl with long, silky black hair, dark blue eyes, and dressed in a long-sleeved black and white dress with black boots came to her aid. Her name was Martha Ann.

Martha: Are you okay? Let me help you... She helped her pick up the fallen groceries out of the bag and put it back in.

Lisa: Thank you...You're so kind.

Lisa: I don't know why I fell...I think it's because I'm getting old and slower.

To thank Martha for her kindness, she decided to bring her to Jeremy's house and introduce her to him. They ended up talking in the main room and Lisa was looking quite ill and she was feeling weaker since she had little to no energy to do her work as a housekeeper these days.

Lisa: Jeremy, this is Martha. She's a nice girl...

Lisa: She helped me on my way home when I tripped and fell.

Jeremy: Well, that's nice of her to help you...But why did you bring her home?

Lisa: I don't know how much time I have left in this world...I may be knocking on death's door anytime soon.

Jeremy: With a worried expression. What are you saying, Lisa?

Lisa: I won't be able to take care of you when I'm gone...and you'll be all alone again.

Lisa: Turned towards Martha. Martha, would you be kind enough to take care of Jeremy while I'm gone?

Martha: Of course, I can do that. I have a lot of time on my hands.

Then Lisa's untimely death occurred a few days later. She had her eyes closed and laid motionless on her bed. Her body was buried right next to his parents' in the local cemetery close to Jeremy's home. He went there with Martha.

Jeremy: He said to himself. Why did she have to leave me too? She was a good housekeeper...

Martha: I'm so sorry about your housekeeper, Jeremy...She's in a good place now.

Martha quickly adjusted to her new life of living inside Jeremy's house. She was a kind and compassionate girl and she did everything she could to cheer him up. But Jeremy wasn't able to reciprocate nor respond to her efforts because his negative emotions flooded his mind like a tsunami.

Jeremy was resting on a couch thinking deeply about everything that happened and Martha tried to speak to him.

Martha: Today seems like a good day...What do you want us to do together?

Jeremy: It's up to you. Just another neutral day for me.

Martha: Ok...then I'll make some breakfast for us.

Martha: If you change your mind, let me know. She walked away and went ahead in the kitchen to make meals for both her and Jeremy.

Jeremy: He thought to himself. She's pretty, but she can't make me fall in love with her.

At the dining table, Martha did all the talking and Jeremy tried to listen to the things she talked about, but he only had Angela on his mind. In the afternoon while Martha was beside him on the bed napping, he couldn't nap along with her. He stroked her gently, but not in a romantic way.

Jeremy: He thought to himself. She must be so tired...But I can't get Angela out of my head.

Angela was sleeping peacefully in her bed when it was nighttime, but then suddenly for no reason she slowly got up. She saw a strange blue butterfly fluttering around in her room. Enchanted, she blindly followed where it was going as it flew out. While Angela was following the blue butterfly, Vincent was outside as well and he caught a glimpse of her being hypnotized. He had a hunch that she wasn't safe.
