Odd. That was the only thing on my mind as I walked behind the white-haired man. I made it into this...reality- dimension. And one where he isn't supposed to... ah never mind. I'm not where I used to be anymore. Still, with the data I have on this place, I'm supposed to be in the manga...meaning Angela Blanc doesn't exist...does that mean this is another version of him?

But I suppose he and I are similar. He is an angel that craves and wreaks havoc- I guess he and I are more alike than I took him for, but our personalities- are completely different. But this could be different from what I've seen.

Ash Landers should be serving the Queen- wait. No. He's not even supposed to exist here. Get it together (Name)!

We arrived at a large house- almost a manor but not really, it really wasn't all that much. The surrounding walls gave it a bit of private land. Enough for a small garden, not only that but the walls offered privacy. As he allowed me to walk in through the dark oak doors I carefully calculated where it could've gone wrong. Well...anything I suppose, it's already wrong for me to be here. But then again...

I could get away with many things here. But my morals stop me from doing so, and I wouldn't gain much from doing so.

"Lost in thoughts Miss (Name)?" The man said as he closed the door behind himself,

"Yes, actually..." A hard decision but I suppose it's a 50/50 chance.

He smiled, "Well, you don't have to share but- ah, I haven't introduced myself! Ash Landers, the butler of- well...I was a butler," he stopped and looked around as if reminiscing,

"Who did this place belong to?"

"No one important, I really didn't care for the man. Rude and repugnant." Ash stayed quiet for a little, however, suddenly his eyes widened and he turned around, holding my hands in his grasp.

"But you...Please, do not think of me as scum but I couldn't help but acknowledge your act of kindness." He beamed a bright smile, how odd

Yeah, I never liked him from the actual show, But I practically forgot he existed when I focused on the manga. But he is...different.

"Well by the first few words we had shared in the alleyway I had already collected that you had seen me with the woman...What is it to you, good sir?" I sneered as he simply chuckled and gently took my right hand in his.

"What are you doing..?" I questioned the man kneeled down before me, he looked up while still holding onto my hand ever so softly

"To make it short...I would love to serve you instead,"

"Please, you can stand up. And you had only seen me do one act of kindness...I'm not all...that. Not to mention I'm not upper class or anyone important..." I grimaced, scratching my neck

He stayed quiet for a small moment, standing up from his position, "Then you will be,"

"...huh?" I was confused before he gave that same smile again, it held no sinister intentions yet. But I didn't want to take any chances, he would may as well be a future threat...

"I know who you are." He kept the smile he had from before, a part of me wanted him to act shocked, but another part of me felt already knew that he was going to get a little cocky.

"Please, My lady, elaborate." I stomped up to the man, pointing an accusing finger directly at his chest as I looked up to meet his eyes. His pale blue eyes.

"Ash Landers...what do you want from me..?" That wasn't a question but a demand. I demanded an answer to his existence.

He was pushed up against a desk behind him, having a sly smile playing at his lips as he leaned back, arms propping him up against the desk as his pale blue eyes stared into mine
"ah, you ratted me out..." he faked a wounded expression, wiping away a fake tear.

I take a step back and look at his form, half-sitting on the desk that served as somewhat of a reception table.

This was the outcome I was hoping for rather than the other, This is not the Ash Landers I saw on screen, but an alternate version. Personality and goals are different from the...well...I wouldn't say the original, for all I know he could be the original and the other is the...agh!

I clenched my fists and was about to shoot back before he suddenly grabbed my wrist, gentle yet firm as he spun me around, starting me as I struggled to get my foothold. Suddenly, it felt like a warm blanket had been draped over me, instantly calming me down as my back was pressed against his chest.

He leaned in next to my ear, his voice soft.

"I'm sure you can feel it as well, you think it's a mere coincidence that I would suddenly do this. But you can tell, can't you? Queen of the void." I was shocked, yet my body did not respond to my reaction, my body did not stiffen nor did I feel threatened.

"How...what?" I breathed out as he spun me around to meet his eyes again, my hand against his chest as he held my other up, his right hand on my waist.

"My lady, I'm not asking you to trust me, but at least, let me prove myself to you. Our meeting was fated..." He looked into my eyes and I couldn't help but feel chills through my spine...fate he says...bullshit, but...
I'll let him play,

"I suppose so," I gave it one last thought before looking back up at the white-haired butler. A small smile on my lips, go on angel, little oblivious bird, fall into the cage.

"Well, then from now on I suppose you, Ash Landers, are now the butler of (Name) (Lastname)" he nodded with a smile and let me go, yet still held on to my right hand, his eyes softening as he held it gently.

"Well, it is getting quite late now, My Lady, may I show you to your chambers?" He joked, I gave a small chuckle as I shook off the odd feeling and smiled back, following him right and up a small flight of stairs.

"This place is no maze, I'm sure I would've been able to find it on my own" I joke back, as we arrive at what is now my chambers,

"Well, since you are the owner of this place now, do you plan on doing anything? Perhaps start a business?" As he said, an idea sparked into my head, thinking back to my abilities, those within my control...

"An antique shop...yes, I'll turn this place into an antique shop, oh!" I was instantly sparked by the idea,

"An antique shop? Well, they are more popular than one may think..." He put a hand on his chin as he led me into the bathroom, "Are you sure your shop will be a success?"

I nodded, "mhm, I'm sure."

Ash let go of my hand to run the water, still keeping the conversation ongoing, "So be it, an Antique shop it is, aside from that I'm sure you have something else on your mind, My Lady. What will be your next course of action?"

Next course of action...oh, right. I had almost forgotten.

"Next course of action...I'm not sure...Well, first send a letter to the Queen..." He stopped from running the bath and turned to me, his smile still there but had a brow raised in curiosity,

"So be it. I feel like I will enjoy serving under you, My Lady." He wiped his hand on the nearby hand towel as I gave him a nod while watching him leave the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.

Captured. You shouldn't be too trusting because you know one's secret. But then again, I'm fair,

I'll let you play, white dove.
