I tripped...and now I'm...In a completely different space. I blinked once, twice, thrice. No, this isn't like one of the phases that I had before. I'm actually stuck here...I looked around in panic, gripping my bag tighter. I coughed and pushed myself up, dusting off my hands, pulling a long shawl out from my bag covering myself and my clothes and taking a good look at where I was, It didn't look familiar but felt familiar, the street was indeed familiar, except for what would, later on, be my "Luxury apartment", is just a large pub. But of course, none of the shops I am actually familiar with. It would only be this street sign that told me where I was and that's about it. Everything else, not including the other historical sites, I am almost completely unfamiliar with. Of course, the roads would still be similar in a way but shops and streets are quite different. More empty. Of course, this isn't romanticized London it's real.

I took a few steps, not really having a goal, just trying to process my surroundings. Every person I walk past on the streets that aren't higher or middle class couldn't care less about my appearance as well...they had other things to worry about. However, they were the minority, the majority were lower-class kids on the streets, siblings begging for food to feed their families...

I tried my best to avert my eyes from viewing each person I walked past begging for food. I didn't have money...Well, I do, but it's pointless here.

Turning into an alleyway that led seemingly nowhere, I let out a breath as I finally saw the sign of a small pub, quickening up my pace, trying to get there as soon as possible as I clutched onto my bag.

"Dear?"

I paused in my tracks as my shawl was being held back- turning around to protest I instantly swallowed my words as I looked down...A woman was sitting down on a thin yet large piece of fabric, bearly keeping her legs dry from the damp floor, dressed in a dirty cape that was just enough to probably stop her from dying of hypothermia.

But what caught my attention the most was- who I presumed, her son. A boy, perhaps around the age of eight years old was curled up against the woman, her cape mostly covering him rather than herself, desperate to keep him warm. He looked frail- just alive.

"Do you have spare change, my dear?" I was snapped out of my trance as I looked back over to the woman, a kind small on her lips as she gently let go of the rim of my dark red skirt.

"I-" My voice was caught in my throat. I was aware of the things people have to face, but trust me. Seeing it for yourself is different, very different.
"Please, bare with me, I just need to get something..." I stepped away as the woman gave me another closed eye smile.

"Oh, alright" It was a sad smile, perhaps she got that often, people saying that then not returning. But I decided to make it a small mission of mine.

After reaching the pub at the end of the alleyway I quickly came up with a plan...I had to do something...rob a rich person? yeah...I walked past the pub and spotted my target, A rich man, about to reach into his pocket to pull out a stash of cash...luckily it was easier when I was actually focused on teleporting objects. In an instant, I felt my bag get slightly heavier, and it was indeed the man's stash.

"Order for (Last name)?!" My head quickly shot up at the mention of my surname, I had finally managed to order something. I walked up to the man shouting and quickly handed him the money and left the pub with the hot food wrapped in paper, not without getting a few stares or odd stares who noticed my shoes, or my hair,

I approached the woman once more, my shadow slightly looming over her, the woman noticed the change in lighting and looked around from wiping off a bit of mud from her son's cheek, back up at me.

"Ah, dear, you returned."

I nodded, "ahem...Yes...This is for you and your son." I awkwardly handed her the hot food I had gotten for them at the pub, then dug into my bag and pulled out a glass bottle containing just water, it was probably cleaner than where they were getting their water...even though it was merely modern tap water.

"Oh my! Thank you! so much...William, dear, would you like to say thank you to the kind lady?" She gently nudged the boy, shivering he looked up with a small smile, "Thanks, nice lady..!" I nodded, trying to smile but eventually just left with the nod and walked off.

But no more than ten steps away I fumbled with the shawl around my neck, it was thick and very insulated.

"Please, take this as well!" I handed her the shawl and bowed, I was taught to respect my elders- I wasn't going to forget that. Thaught by who was once a wonderful teacher...

"Heavens! Please- this is yours-" she paused as she saw my clothing under the shawl

"I insist...you need it more than I do..." She hesitantly took the shawl, still staring at my attire, but she eventually shook it off and wrapped it around her son.

"How can we ever repay you, dear- Ah, she's gone, how swift..."

Truthfully, I needed that shawl. Without it I kept having to rush around the streets, taking alleyway shortcuts just to avoid more hard stares and curses about my attire.

I sighed, fumbling with the bracelet on my wrist, the one I was going to wear to the dinner, while thinking about my next course of action. If I could somehow find Ciel- or a character I know since I'm quite sure I was...where I was. Rather than normal Victorian London...the pocket watch proved quite so,

The more I walked the more exhausted I got. I got into an empty alleyway and leaned against the wall, frustrated "At this rate, I won't be able to get anywhere, let alone go back to my apartment-" I reached into my bag to grab a small snack I had packed...only that- there was no bag.

"What?!" I yell at no one, looking around me and patting myself down...and finally giving up and falling onto the floor, slamming my fists onto the harsh pavement.

"I do an act of kindness and this is what I get?! Christ if angels do exist then take me now I don't want to be here anymore!" I screamed as my eyes began to sting with tears of frustration.

But that moment was short-lived as a hand gently placed itself on my shoulder and my lost bag was placed in front of me,

My eyes widened in shock, and I grabbed my bag and looked inside it

"I believe that might be yours, Miss." A smooth voice made itself known next to me as I looked up to be faced with a very familiar white-haired man.

"I thought I had lost you through the crowds, Miss." He chuckled.

"Are you an angel?" Despite knowing, that those were the first words that slipped out of my mouth, he chuckled,

"Hm, maybe. Now, would you like to come with me, Miss..?" He, like most, eyed my "peculiar" choice of clothing, but unlike others, brushed it off and gave me his hand

"(Name)" I managed to get out

"Well, Miss (Name), I insist for me to care for you, please...such a kind-hearted woman shouldn't be left alone here..."
