(btw sorry for posting 3 days late😭 next chapter will be after 4 days so i can keep posting on Wednesday)

I called out B2T and made her teleport us to his house at LA..

We found ourselves outside the gates.
"Wow.." Was all he said.
Everything was so different, other houses were surrounding his mansion. The road was now fully concrete, with pave way on both sides, cars parked outside. It looked like a whole neighborhood for new-money people and new big houses.
We stepped inside the property. The guard welcomed us. He was already informed for us by the governor and all the news..
Diego wanted us to walk around for some time.
The olive gardens looked lonely, same as the beach. No one had permission to put anything on the beach. People were allowed to only stand there as it was of his own. We got closer to it and we could make out some people. Kids were playing volleyball and some other were sunbathing on the bare sand with a towel or two.
The waters sure looked lovely. September was unlike February or March.. It was sunnier and warmer. There were some teenage boys surfing the waves.

We made our way onto the sand, took our shoes off.
"It feels really good to be here again with you. It's the same, but still so different.. somehow." Dio sighed then suddenly picked me up and placed me to sit on his shoulders. I just went with it and didn't complain as long as he was happy. "Can you see it too? The melancholic isolated lonely feeling is no longer the same, but it is still present."

He stopped right before where the waves wet the sand. Took off his pants and went inside.
"It's warm, Y/N. Do you want to get off?" Diego asked. "Sure, but.. I'll wet my jeans" I sighed.
He put me back on the ground. "Take them off, don't worry." He assured me. I looked around, it seemed like no one really cared nor noticed us at all. I unzipped them and slid them down my legs, threw them on the sand next to his.
Him and me went further into the sea. The water was just beneath my belly, but I was fine with my shirt getting wet.

"I love it.. The ocean is so pretty and clean." I looked down to my feet, seeing clearly all the tiny cute shells and fish. "All of it can only dream to be as beautiful as you." He whispered. I looked at him, flustered by the comment he made. "What? It is true... You look at the ocean, I look at you. You seem to not realize how much I wish to never take my eyes off you. Wherever I am, I really don't care as long as you're with me. May it be the most ethereal and ungodly beautiful place in this universe, you will always stand right where my gaze falls to." Diego held me close to him. "And when some other impure creature, like me, dares to please their eyes and mind with you.. I just can't take it. I'm pretty lucky that I'm the one you chose." He quietly said to my ear. That was the time when I realized.. I've never ever had heard words like these said to me ever before.. As for that tears immediately began going down my cheeks. I had so much thoughts in my mind, but nothing came out. The only thing that I could muster up to say was one simple phrase. "I love you." But was that really enough? Was it not enough for him? I wanted to know so bad, but before I knew his lips met with mine and I couldn't say anything even if I wanted to. Never before did I feel so complete. Why was I crying again? I couldn't remember. The only thought that was left in me was that sweet little one, of him. I didn't want it to end, wondering why it felt so special even if we had done it numerous times. It was like the ocean itself was luring me in, the golden sand and the deep aquatic color of the soft waves wanted me to drown in, to sink deep below the twilight.
I finally could get myself to escape from his sweet scary lips. He smiled at me. "Did I really say that out loud? Ah shit." Diego got a handful of water and splashed it onto his face. "Ahah! I've never ever heard you talk to me like that!" I laughed. "Come on now! It was cute, don't be embarrassed." I joked with him. "Yeah, okay. Let's get inside and dry ourselves." I followed behind.
