Three Battleships in Azur Lane

Chapter 5

An hour later, Yamato sits in a room with a slowly awakening Takao on the other side of a desk with a microphone on it.

Takao: H-huh!

Yamato: Good afternoon, sleepy head.

Takao: The hell!? tries to move only to realize she is tied to the chair

Yamato: I'm sorry, but I can't allow you to leave until you

Takao: Untie me, you bastard!

Yamato: I'm not finished. You'll give me what I need the easy way or the hard way.

Takao: What makes you think I'll just give you what you want? I won't talk!

Yamato: I had a feeling you would say that.

Yamato then gets up and puts his chair to the side. He walks to the back of the room and kicks a chair toward the desk. Takao sees that Atago is in the chair tied and unconscious.

Takao: Sister!

Yamato: If you won't talk. pulls the slide on Nambu pistol and aims it at Atago's head. Then your sister gets it.

Takao: Okay, fine! I'll explain everything, just don't kill my sister.

Takao starts to explain the whole 9 yards about what the Sakura empire has been planning.

Meanwhile, outside the building, Texas is sitting with Nevada, Wisconsin, and Enterprise along with Bladewolf in a lying down-like position on the ground, seemingly sleeping.

Texas: looks at Bladewolf. You know, I've never had a companion quite like him. He really saved me today.

Enterprise: I'm more interested in where it came from. Or who made it for that matter?

Wisconsin: Ah, you never know. recives a call. Huh? ok, cool, I'll bring her over. Hey, Enterprise.

Enterprise: Hm?

Wisconsin: Hornet just called, said Vestal is pulling in, wanted you to go meet her. I'll go with you if that's alright.

Enterprise: blushes softly at the offer. U-um, sure, I guess.

Wisconsin and Enterprise both leave for Texas and Nevada alone, laughing a bit.

Texas: You thinkin' what I'm thinking?

Nevada: Yep, those two are certified  love birds. All they need to do is confess to one another.

Bladewolf then perks his head up as if he sensed something catching the attention of both Texas and Nevada.

Texas: What's up?

Bladewolf: It appears that Yamato is coming back out with Atago and Takao behind him. Although they do not appear to be in handcuffs.

Texas; Really? Guess Yamato talked to them about rejoining Azur Lane after what happened earlier.

Bladewolf: Most likely. Also, Yamato's emotional condition appears to be...
..warmer than usual.

Nevada: Huh? What's all that about?

The door then opens up, and Yamato is holding the door for a cheerful Atago and shy Takao. When he stepped out, his face looked a bit red and had something that looked like a little bit of lipstick on his cheek.
Texas and Nevada put the two together and look at each other. They don't realize until too late that they're a bit too close to one another and both back away blushing.

Texas: Oh jeez, I'm so sorry.

Nevada: Oh my goodness.

Then in a moment of desperation and coincidence, they look at the time and where the sun was, they both see that it's getting late.

Texas: Oh it's getting late, I'll uhh, I'll talk to ya later.

Nevada: Yeah same.

They both went their separate ways.

*Later at 10:00pm*

Texas was on his ship in his quarters wearing a black t-shirt and blue shorts as night clothes sitting on his bed reading a book and thinking about the recent events that happened. He then hears a knock on his door, he goes over to it and opens the door. He then sees a sleepy Nevada wearing a white nightgown and holding a pillow.

Texas: Oh, Nevada, what are you doing here so late?

Nevada: I had a bad dream~, can I, blushes softly can I sleep with you tonight?~~

Texas: blushes softly as well, Well I mean, uhh, I mean I don't see why not?

Nevada's face brightens up and enters Texas' quarters. She gets into his bed first and almost immediately falls dead asleep, Texas blushes at the sight of Nevada sleeping and get in as well. Before he covers himself up for bed, he tucks her in making sure she is cozy. He then plops down on his back and falls asleep after a few minutes. Nevada opens one eye and sees that Texas is asleep so she takes some advantage and places her hand on his chest, leaving it there as they sleep for the night.
