7:00 am

Texas woke up to the sunshine outside through his window. He was about to get up but looked over at Nevada and saw she had her hand on his chest. He almost blushed like crazy at the sight of Nevada trying to cuddle him unnoticeably, so he ultimately just decided to grab a book from his desk next to his bed and read until she woke up.

7:30 am

Nevada woke up and looked up at Texas, sitting next to her and reading a book. He had moved her arm to his leg so he could sit comfortably. He sees her waking up.

Texas: Good morning, sleepyhead. How'd you sleep last night?

Nevada: Very well~ Especially considering I was sleeping with a big and strong man to protect me.~~ she said as she stroked Texas' chest with her hand.

Texas almost blushed like crazy when she did this, but kept his cool and only patted her on her head in response.

Texas: *sigh* gets up can I tell you something, kinda heavy?

Nevada: sits next to him yeah, what's up?

Texas: So, back in our old world, before we came here, did you always have a crush on me?

Nevada: Well, yes, but I tried not to say anything as we were in the middle of war.

Texas: Well, if I had to be honest. I kinda had a crush on you as well.

Nevada: perks up Wait, really? Why did you never say anything?

Texas: Well, I wanted to wait until after the war to tell you, but when the war ended. And those.........experiments started.

Nevada: *Pov* The Bikini-Atoll experiments.

Texas: When a few of the ships that went there came back, I couldn't find you. looks down It was only a year or two later, I heard from Missouri that, you survived 2 nukes, but you, *sniff* we're sunk, as a target.

Texas almost falls, but Nevada catches him and places his head on her shoulder. This was a new emotion Nevada had almost never seen out of Texas, that emotion being, sadness.

Texas: When I heard that, *sniff* I couldn't live with myself.

Nevada: Hey, hey, Tex, come on, hugs him tight It's all okay, I'm here now, I won't leave you ever again.

Texas hugs Nevada back and they just sit there for a good minute. Until Texas pulls back a bit.

Texas: Nevada, I know it wasn't possible for me to say it in the past, but, I really do like you, I don't know if-

As soon as Nevada heard Texas confess, she jumped into him and kissed him. Texas is somewhat startled, but it doesn't take him long to lean into it. They stop and look into each other's eyes romantically. The moment is short as it is quickly interrupted by a crunching sound. Texas and Nevada look at where it's coming from and see Wisconsin leaning in the kitchen, eating a small bag of chips.

Texas: Oh, come on you. How long have you been there?!

Wisconsin: About 5 minutes, and I saw everything.

Texas and Nevada both blush when he said that.

Wisconsin: Now come on you two lovebirds, they want us in the main office Pronto.

Wisconsin leaves Texas and Nevada a blushing mess.

Nevada: kisses Texas on the cheek Don't worry about him, I'll go change in your bathroom and then you can go, after that we'll go to the office together, ok.

Texas: Sounds good, and I promise, I won't let anything hurt you. Not as long as I'm around. hugs Nevada tightly

Texas lets Nevada go and change, then wonders to himself if there are some other ships that have heard of him and gotten a tiny crush on him. Little did he know, there was one other ship who did, and they just happened to be on the wrong side of the conflict.
