Four years have passed, and I am happy to report that Chandler and I are still together, and extremely happy. We got engaged two years ago while on a picnic date at night to watch the sunset in the backyard of the home we are buying together. We are going to be married next year on July 06, 2024 in our backyard. We decided on a three year engagement because we had been in the process of adopting a set of siblings when Chandler proposed to me. We want our children to be fully acclimated into our family, and have time to fully save our simple wedding, and not be stressed about the money to pay for this.
Jace is my best man with dad, Lochlan and Alecander are my groomsmen. Finn is Chandler's best man with Lake, Karter and Jayda are his groomsmen. Finn and Karter have been friends with Chandler for six years now. Alecander and Jayda are our children - Alec is 9-years-old with short curly blond hair and mossy green eyes, and Jayda is 7-years-old with long, straight blond hair and sky blue eyes.
I have been in my field of work for almost four years, and I work in our town while Chandler is working as a juvenile probation officer. I have not seen or spoken to Mason in four years, and I am still in limited contact with my oldest brother, but that does not matter to me as my mental well being is more important than his bruised ego.
As of now, we do not plan on adopting any more children, but only time will tell.
