The day they met. And the rest of the year after

Colson's POV
I sat in the studio, just chilling and smoking some weed, while writing some song lyrics down for this new song I'm making. Currently I was stuck at the second verse. I had the rest except for the last part which was also missing. I asked Rook and Travis if they could help me, but they only said they'd know a guy who'd be perfect for the song and that they are going to contact him. I tried to convince them that I didn't need help from a stranger, but they wouldn't listen. So as I was saying I was sitting in the studio when Rook stormed through the door and gave me a heart attack. "Dude, knock or make a goddamn sound, you scared the shit outta me!", I said, still slightly shocked. He laughed before saying: "Sorry, man, I just wanted to say I contacted the guy I told ya about and he said yes, he'll be over in 20 minutes!!" I stared at him. "Are you serious right now?", I asked in disbelief. "Yup, we'll just have to wait", he said and left the room. I sighed and decided to surrender. Maybe it won't even be that bad. Surely not twenty minutes later I heard the front door open. But I didn't hear the doorbell... did he just came inside? Whatever. I'll just stay here, won't make any efforts to get help. I don't need it! I heard muffled voices through the wall. Ten minutes passed by and my curiosity got the best of me, so I walked down the hallway, but decided to make a little stop at the kitchen, I needed some water. I walked inside, but stopped moving as I saw a guy, his back turned on me and apparently holding a glass of water. His hair was dark brown and messy and his outfit consisted of a white cropped shirt with black stripes and a black skirt. A skirt?! His thighs were thick and his legs in general very shapely. On his feet I could see bright pink socks and above them he wore black boots. He had a good figure from what I could tell from behind him. Almost feminine. But feminine enough. I coughed and he turned around. I nearly choked on air when I saw his honestly beautiful face. His eyes, a beautiful green, rimmed by black eyeliner, a cute button nose and his lips were... plump, a bright shade of soft pink and full, nicely curved as well. If I didn't know better I'd think a model was accidentally let inside my house. His eyes widened as he seemingly slowly realized who I am. His gorgeous lips formed an 'o' as he stared at me in shock. "Who are you?", I asked. He quickly regained his confidence before he spoke: "My name's Dominic Harrison, prefer Dom tho, and I was asked to come here to help you with a song?" Now it was my time to stare at him again. "Oh, yeah, actually I asked Rook to... not get anyone, but doesn't matter, in fact maybe it's even good if I'll have some help", I said and let him see the slightest of smiles I could muster, since I hate my smile. I offered him my hand, which he hesitantly accepted, so I led him to the studio. He sat down next to me on the table. "Okay, so I got most of the song but I haven't got the second verse or the last part so I'll need a bit of help with that", I explained to him, while he nodded hastily. "Can you play me the material you got already?", he asked, his voice soft and low, his heavy British accent incomparable to anything I've ever heard. "S-sure!!", I said way too enthusiastically. Damn, what's up with me today? I played the song to him and he bobbed his head to the beat, smiling. As the song ended he of course got a comment. "I know you probably heard tha' a million times already, but your voice is fookin amazin", he complimented. I felt my cheeks warm. Am I blushing? The smile that took over my face was unexpected, so I couldn't really hold it back. "Thanks, man!", I said grinning. When I looked at him again his face was kinda red. "Hey... are you okay?", I couldn't help but worry. "Y-yeah, why?", he stuttered. "Your face is kinda red...", I pointed out. "Oh...", he said and looked down, hiding his face in his hands. "No I'm fine", he added. I grabbed his hands and pulled them away from his stunning face. He looked into my eyes with such intensity I didn't dare to breathe. We then kinda leaned in. Why? The fuck do I know. We were really close our noses almost touching when the door was slammed open. Me and Dom jumped away from each other. "Hey, Cols- oh- sorry! Um, Travis asked me to tell you that he wants to talk to you in like 15 minutes. So- um- yeah, bye", he said and left again. I was blushing so hard, simply out of embarrassment. I don't know what the fuck that was, but I hope it won't happen again. The door was slammed shut again. "U-uh, j-jus' play it again", stuttered Dom. A cherry red coloring his cheeks was making him look overheated. It took me a second to realize what he was referring to until he nodded to the laptop. "Oh, yeah, 'course", I said and did as he asked. He stood up which confused me slightly. He then walked into the booth, put on the headphones and sang along to the song. It's like my brain short-circuited. His voice was amazing, sweet, light and just the right amount of raspiness. It reminded me a little bit of Bert McCracken from The Used. The verse my fellow musician created was absolutely amazing. To my surprise I was absolutely captivated by the younger man. After he was done he stepped out of the booth and smiled as he saw my probably shocked facial expression. "Are you good, mate?", the green-eyed male asked grinning. "Yeah... holy fuck... that's- that was really impressive... fuck, uh, how- how long have you been singing?", I asked. He chuckled and the sound was absolutely music to my ears, soft and bright. "I'm signed since I was like eighteen so nearly four years. I'll be 22 years old in August. But I only played real shows since I was twenty", he said, smiling brightly. "Oh? When's your birthday?", I asked. "5th August 1997! I'm still pretty young I guess... that's why I've chosen my stage name to be Yungblud", he told me grinning. "That name's cool", I said. "Thx. But take the o's out, then double the u double the flavor, in all caps and you've got me name!", he smiled. I chuckled and for a short second we were both quiet. "Uhm, I think I'll have to go now and see what Travis wanted to tell me, so uh...", I said hinting him that he should probably leave, although he actually didn't bother me anymore. I don't know if he even ever bothered me at all. His green eyes flashed with realization. "Oh, yeah, no problem, mate! Adam's gonna pick me up soon anyway, I'll just text him", he said smiling. I smiled back. "Who's Adam?", I asked sheepishly. Why did I care anyway? "Uh, me guitarist. And my best friend. I've lived with him since I was like eighteen", he told me smiling. Something about the last part bothered me, but I just ignored it. "Oh, alright then, gotta go, it was nice to meet you Dom! I'll text ya", I said and walked out of the studio.
